This is a recording that complements my meditation Transcending the body three stages to emotional freedom and more specifically stage one One of my favorite quotes is by Lao Tzu He says Nature does not hurry yet.

Everything is accomplished Yet our modern societies expect us to use our bodies at a much faster pace that they can actually manage which leads to all the stress anxieties and problems that we see in the world today a Useful way to think about this is to imagine that the body is a car And it can reach great speeds and it is necessary to do so when we are on the highway However,

Our modern societies also try to force us to use these same speeds in a city environment And of course that is inefficient and counterproductive So today I will share a practice with you That I call the slots technique experiencing life in slow motion I would encourage you to just watch a few videos of slots and How slowly they experience life?

Use that example as your inspiration to slow down and then really slow down your body breathe very deeply and Any movement that arises just imagine being a slot Make it extremely slow and smile Those animals seem to have an eternal smile on their faces Notice how your body Changes how it reacts to the slowing down maybe there is a feeling which says something like ah Finally I can move at a slower pace I Can relax into the moment?

Finally I can recognize that there is no rush that Everything is taken care of That's it Just continue moving at this slow pace For as long as you like and set reminders during the day to return to this practice to return to the knowing that There is no rush in truth in nature It is just that we have somehow forgotten this and Through this practice we remember it Thank you

Move like a sloth, see the world as a sloth. The beauty of seeing the world go by on its own time, frame by frame. Moment by moment. In Costa Rica once I was lucky enough to see a sloth swimming across a river, knowing the effort expended for the sloth to swim and his focus on his intention taught me aLOT about the strength found in ourselves.

A meditation that carries a very wise message. I’m heading to Costa Rica shortly and I’m sure I will see the perspective that nature can provide.

This makes so much sense as a practice for slowing down and living in a place of trusting that it is all done. Brilliant!
