Wise woman,
Take a comfortable seat or lay down.
Make sure your spine is long,
Allow your eyes to close and turn inward.
Take a deep inhale,
Fill yourself all the way to the top and then exhale with a sigh and another one,
Deep inhale,
Pause at the top and exhale with a sigh and a third one,
Deep inhale,
Pause,
Let it go and then notice your physical body,
Release some of the tension you're holding,
Allow for a bit more space,
For a bit more lightness,
Allow your heart to soften and notice your emotional body and what's coming through,
It's all allowed to be here,
Lean back and feel the waves and then know the body,
How's the weather up there,
Busy with many thoughts or is there some space in between,
Nothing to fix,
Simply notice and then lean back a bit,
No need to engage in all those thoughts right now,
They can simply pass by and then I invite you to come on a little journey with me,
While physically you stay in the same place,
Image yourself as you're standing on the edge of a forest,
It's a welcoming forest,
You're curious,
Something is pulling you to go in,
Notice what kinds of trees are growing on the side,
Notice what the path looks like as you set one foot in front of the other,
Notice the weather,
Notice the animals that might be present and you keep on walking along this beautiful little path that's winding its way deeper into the forest,
It feels safe to be here,
It feels protected and after a while you come to a clearing,
At that clearing you see a little hut,
You come closer and in front of the hut there's a fire burning,
Beautiful bonfire,
There's a bench right next to the fire and you know that you're being expected,
So you take a seat at the bench and look into the flames and when you next look up there's an old woman walking out of the house with two tea cups,
She smiles and nods at you,
Notice what she looks like,
The face,
The twinkle in her eyes,
The kindness and the warmth,
She comes towards you,
She sits down next to you and hands you a cup of tea,
It smells so good,
All the herbs in the forest and she tells you in her own words that she's happy that you came and that you could ask her any questions that you had,
So go ahead and ask what your soul wants to know and listen to her answers,
They'll come through,
Trust yourself,
Continue to see yourself sitting with her next to the fire,
Holding a pleasantly warm cup of tea,
Inhaling the scents,
Feeling at peace,
Maybe another question comes up and you can ask that one,
Evening falls,
A few stars come up,
You're still enjoying to look into the flames,
To sit with the wise woman,
The silence is comfortable in between,
Maybe there's a last question you have for today,
You ask that and listen to the answer,
You feel complete,
You can thank her for her presence and her wisdom and her kindness,
Her hospitality,
You can say farewell in whichever way you wish,
Maybe you'll see each other again soon,
She says she's always here for you,
That she's so happy you came to visit and then you hug each other and gently,
Slowly,
You start making your way back on the path,
You leave the clearing,
You set one foot in front of the other,
The forest is not much darker yet it still feels peaceful and safe,
You come to the other side of the forest,
You notice that the sun is already rising and you walk into the light of a new day and the sky has all colours of the most beautiful sunrise,
It is filled with the possibilities of all your wishes and desires manifesting with an undertone of the peace and calm and kindness that you felt when you were sitting by the fire,
You feel little bubbles of joy inside of yourself as you close your eyes once more and you slowly come back into your body,
Of being back in your body,
Feel your skin from the inside,
Take a slightly deeper breath,
Make any small movements that feel good right now,
When you're ready you can blink your eyes open and maybe now is a good time to journal about what came through,
It allows us to carry these things deeper,
I send you much love,
Come back here whenever it feels right.
