Take a deep inhale.
Exhale,
Relax.
Take another deep breath here.
And with your exhale,
Relax your eyes,
Your ears,
Forehead,
Jaw,
Palms of your hands and soles of your feet.
Notice your breath flowing in and out of your nose.
Expanding your belly with every inhale.
Leaving your nostrils with every exhale.
And then take a moment to give thanks to that breath.
To that force of life that's breathing you.
Sometimes we are breathing.
Sometimes it feels like we are being breathed.
So every morning when you wake up,
You were being breathed.
You didn't have to consciously do that at night.
So give thanks to that breath.
And then with your next inhale,
Move your attention to your eyes.
You can lay the palms of your hands onto your eyes.
Give thanks for your eyes.
That taken so much information for you every day.
That let you see the beauty of the world.
The rays of sunlight.
The colors.
The faces of your loved ones.
With your next inhale,
Place your hands on your ears.
Give thanks for your ears that allow you to listen to my voice right now.
That allow you to enjoy music.
That allow you to have conversations.
With your next breath,
Shift your attention to your throat.
Can place your hands around your neck if you like.
Give thanks for your voice.
For being able to speak.
To sigh.
To groan.
To sing.
And then next,
Move your attention to your arms and hands.
If you like,
You can wrap your arms around yourself.
Give thanks for those arms and those hands.
You use them so much every day.
They do so much for you.
Appreciate their strength and tenderness.
Their ability to feel the haptics you can feel with your fingertips.
Tracing the bark of a tree.
Tracing the back of a person you care for.
Writing a message,
Preparing food.
Thank you hands.
And then move your attention further down to your legs and feet.
If you like,
You can place your hands on them.
They help you move around,
Get to places.
Maybe run,
Jump,
Dance,
Climb.
Thank you to your legs and feet.
Give thanks for your sense of smell,
For your nose that filters the air for you.
Give thanks for your sense of taste.
All the work your mouth does to nourish you.
And then you can follow that inside and thank all your organs for keeping this wonderful body alive and thriving.
Digesting the food,
Processing the oxygen,
Cleaning your blood.
And then move your attention towards what else you are grateful for in your life.
Having a roof over your head.
Having food and clean water.
Every morning we wake up.
We can either pick up some heavy thought from the day before or we can reorient.
We can choose to focus on the gratitude for having woken up,
For getting another day on this miraculous world.
Another day where we are allowed to experience joy,
Happiness,
Contentment.
Maybe also sadness or anger or frustration.
Maybe love,
Maybe bliss and gratitude.
We can be grateful for the opportunity to experience this wide range of emotions that we humans are capable of.
And they're all just passing through.
And we are allowed to choose what we focus on.
Our focus goes,
Energy flows so that we will naturally amplify in our lives.
Gratitude puts us into a receiving mode where good things can come to us.
That we are open for the wonders of the world.
Stay here for as long as you like.
Much love to you.
