This meditation exists to support the healing of the planet.
It starts with you recognizing the light within yourself and eventually spreads to encompass the whole world.
Begin by finding a comfortable seated or reclined meditation posture.
Start to follow your breath,
Inhaling and exhaling through the nose,
Starting to draw the focus and the attention inward.
And now,
I invite you to take three healing breaths,
Visualizing a beautiful white light coming into your being,
Pausing and holding the light in,
And then slowly exhaling out anything that no longer serves you at this time.
Take two more breaths in this way.
Feel free to resume normal breathing at this time.
Beginning now to soften your physical body,
Consciously releasing any tension or holding you may feel in your muscles,
Joints or organs,
Allowing the body to become soft and still.
And now starting to let go of your mind and all of the different roles that you play in your life.
And as you start to release the roles of your life,
You start to let go of all of the stories that go along with those roles,
Not having to be any one of them in this moment.
Allowing yourself to connect to the part of you that is infinite or eternal,
That true essence of your soul.
And it is from this place we will begin surrounding the whole world in healing light.
So starting now by visualizing the room or place outside that you are currently in.
Noticing the floor or ground beneath you and what is around you in every direction.
If you are inside,
Noticing the walls and the ceiling.
Noticing the colors of the walls,
The paintings on the walls and the furniture in the room.
Keeping your eyes closed but seeing every detail of the space you occupy.
And if you are outside,
Noticing any trees,
Plants or flowers around you.
Maybe you are near the ocean or another body of water.
Noticing the sky and the way the air feels and smells.
Wherever you are outside,
Keeping your eyes closed but seeing every detail around you.
And now I'd like you to visualize a beautiful white light surrounding your entire being.
And with each conscious breath that you take,
The light around you grows larger and larger.
The light starts to fill the room and expands to your surrounding area.
And you start to notice the light cannot be contained.
With each breath that you take,
The light grows stronger and expands out further covering more and more distance.
And as the light expands with your breath,
It starts to join all of the other living and breathing energies of the Earth.
And when this happens,
The light rapidly starts to cover the planet,
Connecting you to the life force energy of Mother Earth and all of her inhabitants.
Uniting you with the collective consciousness.
And from this place,
We hold our intentions for our home,
Seeing the entire Earth surrounded in a healing,
Loving white light.
And we affirm,
May all beings be safe.
May all beings be supported.
May all beings receive nourishment.
May all who need healing and freedom from suffering receive this light.
May all who are lonely feel the warm embrace of love,
Light,
And community.
May all ecosystems be healed and restored to their original bountiful states.
May compassion and loving kindness be honored in the core of every soul and reflected through peaceful action.
Living our planet in light regularly supports the removal of darkness,
Greed,
Violence,
And negativity.
Instead of resisting this energy that undoubtedly still exists on our planet,
Let us allow ourselves to become channels of the light and all of its qualities.
Building breathing examples of love,
Compassion,
Gratitude,
And peace.
And so taking one last moment to see and feel the entire Earth surrounded in a healing white light,
Holding gratitude in your heart for the experience of life.
And now starting to follow your breath again,
Becoming aware of the rise and the fall of your chest.
Slowly starting to come back into your body,
Noticing your hands and your feet,
Your arms and your legs,
Your torso and your chest,
Your neck and your head.
And when you're ready,
Slowly and gently opening your eyes halfway first before fully opening them coming back into the present moment with a full and grateful heart.
