The fourth energy center is the heart chakra.
It is located in the center of your chest,
Symbolizing that love,
Compassion,
And gratitude should be the center of all that we do.
This meditation will guide you in releasing the painful shadows that can exist in the heart,
So that you can more easily open yourself to love.
Begin in a comfortable seated or reclined meditation posture,
Placing your right hand over your heart.
Gently close your eyes and begin following your breath,
Inhaling and exhaling through the nose.
Notice how it feels to breathe in this moment.
And now I invite you to take three healing breaths,
Visualizing a beautiful white light coming into your being,
Pausing and holding the light in,
And then slowly exhaling out anything that no longer serves you at this time.
Take two more breaths in this way.
Beginning now to soften your physical body,
Consciously releasing any tension or holding that you feel in the muscles,
The joints,
And even your organs,
Allowing the body to become soft and still.
And now starting to let go of your mind and all of the different roles that you play in your life.
And as you release all of those roles,
You release all of the stories that go along with each one of those roles,
Not having to be any one of them in this moment.
In releasing your physical body and your mind with all the roles and stories of your life,
You release the parts of yourself that are temporary to this lifetime,
And create more space to connect to the part of you that is infinite.
This is your higher self,
The true essence of your soul.
And at this time,
I'd like you to bring your attention to your heart chakra at the center of your chest,
Asking your heart if it is ready to let go of some of the pain it has experienced over the years.
If it says no,
Respect your heart's timeline for healing.
Be patient and gentle with your heart.
It will tell you when it is ready to let go.
If it says yes,
Continue on with this meditation today.
On this journey,
We will touch on some of the common shadow experiences of the heart,
Lovingly release them to the universe,
And invite new positive experiences of love.
Let's begin.

Moving on now,
Coming back to your hand at your heart center,
Noticing how it feels when you repeat this phrase to your heart.
I lovingly release sadness,
Loss,
And loneliness from my heart.

Notice if any people or situations come to the surface for you.
If you become aware of something that you'd like to release from your heart,
You can send these feelings,
The situation,
And the energy around it to the universe to be cleansed and cleared in divine light and love.
Moving the hand off the chest now,
It may feel vulnerable,
But will only be here a moment.
Now that you have released whatever you are ready to in your heart today,
You have created more space to invite in more of the energy you want to experience in your heart.
And as I repeat these loving affirmations to your heart,
Notice which ones feel okay to receive in this moment.
I hold compassion in my heart for those who have wronged me.
I recognize that not everyone is operating on the same level of consciousness and that their actions and words exist to cover their own pain and suffering.
I forgive.
I acknowledge that there is no death of the soul.
The soul is infinite.
I am open to connecting with my loved ones who have crossed over.
I acknowledge that we are all connected on a soul level at all times.
I am never truly alone.
I am grateful for all the love and support I receive in my life.
I welcome new positive,
Loving,
And supportive relationships into my life.
I love myself fully and completely.
So taking a moment now to tune into which affirmation resonated most with you.
Which one will you keep and hold in your heart today?
And then slowly starting to follow your breath again,
Feeling the rise and the fall of your chest,
And now starting to come back into the physical body,
Becoming aware of your hands and your feet,
Your arms and your legs,
Your torso and your chest,
Your neck and your head,
And when you're ready,
Slowly and gently opening your eyes,
Coming back into the present moment,
Feeling connected to the energy of love.
