Hey there.
Welcome to a hit of hope.
And this one's a little bit salty.
Alright.
So we're here.
And I want us to breathe in.
And breathe out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Maybe you can start to feel a little softening in your mouth and your eyes.
Your neck and your shoulders.
And now I want you to try and let be what is.
Because it's here.
Whether you want it to be or not.
What is.
And just see it as stuff to look at.
Stuff to sit with.
Stuff to choose what we do with.
And I want to be clear.
Meditation is not magic.
No matter how much we might long for that to be the case.
And meditation is not a one and done kind of practice.
You don't just let the trauma or the pain or whatever it is go in one fell swoop.
Because you know what?
More likely than not,
It's gonna come back.
It's gonna rise up again.
And so what we're doing is training how to let be what is.
And then training what we want to do with that.
And for right now,
All we have to do is breathe in and let be what is.
And breathe out.
And let be what is.
Whatever it is.
It might be old,
It might be new.
It doesn't matter.
Bring everything to this space.
And let be what is.
If emotions come up,
Okay.
If your stomach growls like mine just did,
Okay.
If your mind wanders,
Oh.
It doesn't matter.
Breathe in and breathe out.
And now bring a little gratitude.
You have a brave and steady heart.
Might not feel like it,
But you do,
And you know how I know.
Because here you are.
You showed up in the midst of all that is.
All the choices before you.
You chose to sit and breathe and be.
And let be what is.
And just know you can always come back to the practice,
To your breath,
To this moment.
This space is always here.
Ready to hold whatever you need it to hold.
As you walk on your path.
As you make your way.
Oh,
Sweet heart.
Breathe out.
Live light.
