Find a comfortable seat.

Let your body settle into the chair or cushion beneath you.

Allow your eyes to close if that feels comfortable or soften your gaze.

Take a slow breath in through your nose and a long,

Gentle exhale through your mouth.

Feel the rhythm of your breath.

Feel yourself arrive in this one precious moment.

Notice your breathing just as it is.

The inhale.

The exhale.

The space in between.

Let it guide you inward,

Away from busyness,

Toward stillness.

Feel the gentle movement of your body as you breathe.

The rise and fall of your chest.

The weight of your hands resting.

There is nothing to do right now.

Nothing to fix.

Just breathe.

Let's take a moment and listen to three sounds of the bell while you connect to your breathing.

Now gently bring to mind the truth you've been feeling.

Your child is growing.

Changing.

Becoming.

You may notice a mix of feelings.

Joy.

Pride.

Sadness.

Nostalgia.

Whatever is here,

Allow it to be here.

This is tenderness.

This is love.

This is letting go.

Notice how it feels in your body.

Maybe a heaviness in your chest.

A tightness in your throat.

Just observe.

You are safe to feel.

Breathe gently.

Breathing in,

Feeling the beauty of their becoming.

Breathing out,

Holding the ache of change with compassion.

In.

Becoming.

Out.

Compassion.

You are not alone in this.

Every parent walks this path.

Learning to hold and release again and again.

Perhaps you remember small hands in yours.

Laughter.

Routines now gone.

Those moments are part of you and always will be.

Breathing in,

Aware of these elements of my child of yesterday.

Breathing out,

Offering gratitude to honor the child of yesterday.

In.

Aware of elements.

Out.

Gratitude.

Now bring your child to mind as they are today.

Still becoming.

Still needing you.

Just in different ways.

Breathing in,

Seeing your child as they are now.

Out.

Making space for who they are becoming.

In.

Seeing child now.

Out.

Making space.

Breathing in,

Aware that my love adapts.

Out.

Aware that my presence remains.

In.

Adapting.

Out.

Presence.

Feel the strength in this moment,

Not from control,

But from openness.

You are growing too.

Breathing.

Aware of your breathing.

Aware of your body.

Come back to now.

This moment is enough.

This breath.

This awareness.

This love.

Releasing the need to hold on.

Choosing to hold space.

In.

Take one more deep,

Gentle breath.

Let it fill your heart with warmth.

And slowly exhale,

Letting go of what you don't need to carry.

When you're ready,

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Gently open your eyes.

Your child is growing,

And so are you.

Let that truth hold you,

Not with fear,

But with quiet grace.
