Welcome,
Beautiful being.
My name is Ana and I'm so honored to guide you through this transformative New Year Detox Meditation.
First of all,
Happy New Year!
May this New Year be filled of love,
Connection,
Peace within.
As we transition from the busyness of the festive season into the fresh beginnings of the New Year,
This is a perfect moment to pause,
To reflect and to cleanse.
The gatherings,
Socializing,
Indulgent meals,
And constant activity of the holidays can leave us feeling energetically full,
Both nourished by connection but also in need of release and renewal.
The New Year is an invitation to reset.
It is a time to let go of the emotional,
Physical and mental weight we've accumulated,
Not just from the festivities but also from the year as a whole.
And together we'll reflect here on the lessons and joys of the past,
Release anything that no longer serves us and create a space for clarity,
Balance and tension as we step forward.
Through guided visualization and deep relaxation,
This meditation will help you cleanse the energy of the holidays,
Lighten the burdens of the past year and reconnect with your inner calm.
You will emerge feeling lighter,
Clearer and ready to embrace the possibilities of the New Year with a renewed spirit.
This practice is also a gift to yourself,
A moment to reset,
To recharge and realign.
Let us journey together as we release the old,
Welcome the new and prepare to step into the new chapter with grace and intention.
May this meditation bring you peace,
Clarity and excitement of a fresh start.
Let us get started by finding the most comfortable space you could think of.
You may want to lie down or sit down.
Just make sure you find a space where you can be there for the next couple of minutes without being disturbed.
And once you found that space,
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.
Inhaling and then slowly exhale.
Inhaling deeply,
Feeling the surface beneath your body,
Supporting yourself.
Inviting calmness with each inhale into your being.
And each exhale you let go of the busyness,
The noise and any lingering tension from the season.
Allowing your breath to guide you into a space of stillness and presence.
Let's repeat two more of those.
Inhale nose.
Inhale nose.
Sigh it out now.
And then allow yourself to come into a natural way of breathing.
Nasal breath.
And bringing awareness to the top of your head.
Imagining a beautiful glowing warm golden light gently touching your forehead.
Relaxing any tension there.
And letting this glowing golden light travel down to your jaw,
To your neck and shoulders.
Really melting away the weight of the past year.
Feeling the light flow through your arms and chest and back.
Soothing every muscle.
Allowing this light to move through your belly and hips and legs.
All the way to your toes.
Your entire body is feeling lighter,
Cleansed and deeply relaxed.
And as you're more relaxed,
As you're grounded and synced with your body and your breath.
Picture yourself standing at the edge of a serene river.
The water there is clear and calm.
And it's gently flowing past you.
In your hands you hold a small bundle.
This bundle represents the emotional and ejectic weight you've carried from the past year and the holiday season.
All the moments of stress,
Overwhelm or anything that no longer serves you.
Now take a deep breath in.
And when you're ready,
Gently place the bundle into the water.
Watch as the river carries it away,
Dissolving it completely.
Feel a sense of lightness and relief.
As you release it all into the cleansing flow of the water.
Now shift your gaze upstream.
And in the distance you see a glowing orb of light,
Gently floating towards you.
This light is carrying the energy of the new year.
All the openness,
The clarity and possibilities.
As it reaches you,
It surrounds you with a warm embrace.
Filling every part of your being with fresh energy.
Now take a moment to set an intention for the new year.
What do you want to invite into your life?
Is it joy?
Is it peace?
Is it purpose?
What is it?
Visualize this intention as a seed planted in your heart.
Ready to grow and flourish as the days unfold.
Now I'll be inviting in a few affirmations.
I ask you to simply let my voice guide deep within your soul.
Or if you feel cold,
You're welcome to repeat them internally or even out loud.
I release what no longer serves me.
And welcome clarity and peace.
I release what no longer serves me.
And welcome clarity and peace.
I release what no longer serves me.
And welcome clarity and peace.
I am open to the possibilities of the new year.
I am open to the possibilities of the new year.
I am open to the possibilities of the new year.
I carry lightness,
Joy,
And gratitude into my heart.
I carry lightness,
Joy,
And gratitude into my heart.
I carry lightness,
Joy,
And gratitude into my heart.
I carry lightness,
Joy,
And gratitude into my heart.
I embrace this moment as a fresh beginning.
I embrace this moment as a fresh beginning.
I embrace this moment as a fresh beginning.
Feel these affirmations resonating deeply,
Anchoring you in a state of balance and renewal.
I release what no longer serves me.
And welcome clarity and peace.
I am open to the possibilities of the new year.
I carry lightness,
Joy,
And gratitude into my heart.
I embrace this moment as a fresh beginning.
Feeling and resting in that space of connection with the worlds,
With the words,
With the world,
With the love that resides deep within you.
Slowly deepen your breath.
And as you deepen your breath,
You allow the image of the river to fade,
Knowing its energy of cleansing and renewal remains with you.
And as you deepen your breath,
You bring your awareness back to your breath and the surface beneath you.
Gently wiggling your fingers and toes.
Inviting movement back into your body,
Maybe sighing it out or yawning.
And then eventually inviting that full body stretch.
To then hug yourself.
If you're sitting or invite the knees to come to your heart,
Hugging one end and the other.
And if you're lying down,
Choosing one side to roll at,
In the fetal position.
Feeling that space.
Just taking a moment to appreciate the practice itself and appreciate yourself for showing up and taking the time.
Knowing that the space of connection is always there.
All it takes you is showing up again and again and again.
And gently press yourself back to seated.
If you were lying down,
Then bring your hands to prayer.
We're all made here.
Starting to rub the palms,
Rub the palms as quickly and strongly as you can.
As you have enough,
As you have a sense of heat.
And bring your hands into your face,
Inhale that heat,
That space.
And as you exhale,
Gently blink your eyes open.
Coming back to the space.
And really taking the moment to thank yourself for showing up.
For this practice of release and renewal.
The new year really offers us that blank canvas.
An opportunity to create a life filled with intention and joy.
So may you carry the lightness and clarity of this meditation into your days ahead.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing up and sharing this practice and your time with me today.
May your new year be filled with peace,
Purpose and possibility.
And with that,
I look forward to seeing you in our next time together.
From my heart to yours.
Namaste.
