Welcome,

Beautiful being.

Welcome to this meditation for PMS relief.

My name is Anna and I'm very honored to be your guide during this journey towards finding a space of comfort,

Of support during times where you might be feeling angry or tired or exhausted or craving food or questioning your self-esteem or so many ors that you could be feeling around that period of your cycle,

Which is the very end.

Or maybe you're joining me in the beginning of your cycle because you're still feeling those qualities that I've just described.

However you are,

I welcome you here in this moment where you're going to be getting pause.

You're going to be giving yourself permission to receive,

To relax and really draw upon a space that gives you support,

That gives you awareness,

That gives you all the reset you need during this time of your own cycle.

So as you have arrived in the space,

I invite you to take the next minute or so to find the most comfortable position you can.

If you can come into a laying down position,

Allow yourself to lie down,

Maybe supporting your low back by giving,

Putting a cushion under your knees,

Possibly putting an eye pillow to cover your eyes and just take the first couple of breaths to arrive and just feel.

Just feel into the space if there's anything else you could do to arrive with more support,

With arrive with more gentle care.

And after finding the space,

Gently close your eyes or keep a soft gaze and just start connecting with your beautiful breath.

Just start noticing how the inhale comes in,

How the breath flows in the body.

And notice how the air flows out.

And allowing yourself to not only arrive into the sacred space of pure relaxation,

Of pure support,

But also allow yourself to be hugged deeper and deeper each time you exhale.

It's like you are being taken care of.

You don't need to worry about anything.

You don't need to blame yourself for feeling how you're feeling.

Allow yourself to feel and draw deeper and deeper into that space just by breathing and allowing yourself to be.

And see if you can,

Each breath you take,

Use that inhalation as a chance to invite new perspectives in the body,

Maybe more care,

More loving kindness.

And every time you exhale,

It's an opportunity for you to let go.

To let go possible physical tensions that you might have been tensions that you might be holding.

It's a chance to really clings out.

It's a chance to use the power of your breath,

Which is extremely powerful.

To hug your soul in the deeper levels within you.

Saying and reminding you that everything is okay.

Feeling how you're feeling.

Sensations,

Physical sensations,

Mental sensations,

They are there,

But they will pass.

So see if you can connect with that feeling of being loved and taken care of just by resting in awareness in the space.

And as you feel held,

As you feel supported by Mother Earth in whatever surface your body is resting upon.

Now I invite you to gently bring awareness to your body.

Starting at the top of your head,

Starting at the top of your head,

And slowly moving down.

And as you start bringing awareness to the different parts of your body,

Move down and notice from the head down to your neck and shoulders,

Your arms and hands.

Notice if you feel,

If you come across any areas of tension.

And if you do so,

Allow yourself to arrive and meet those parts with kindness,

With loving kindness towards whatever are the sensations that are arising.

And if you like,

You could say to yourself,

To that part of you.

It's okay.

You'll be fine.

Thank you.

I'm sorry.

I love you.

It's okay.

You'll be fine.

Thank you.

I love you.

It's okay.

You'll be fine.

Thank you.

I love you.

And going down from upper chest down to the rib cage and then to the belly.

Relaxing,

Allowing yourself to sink deeper into that support.

Relaxing also from the crown of the head,

Back of the head,

Neck,

Back of the neck,

The upper back,

The mid back and the low back.

Everything is hugged.

Everything is loved.

Everything is taken care of.

It's like your body would be floating on the water.

You would be floating under a very warming,

Relaxing bath with hot water.

And as you let your body be held into from that surface,

If hot water feels good to you or maybe it's the complete opposite.

Whatever is that makes you feel good and taken care of.

And then allow yourself to scan down from arms,

Hands,

Fingertips.

Everything is relaxing and taken care of.

So much love.

So much support.

And then down to your hips,

Down to your thighs,

Knees and shins,

Ankles and feet.

Everything is supported.

Everything is loved.

Everything is taken care of.

From the glutes down to the quadriceps,

To your calves and your feet and ankle.

Everything is loved.

Everything is supported.

Everything is taken care of.

Allow yourself to breathe and sink deeper and deeper to that space of feeling support,

Of giving yourself permission to be taken care of.

Not feeling angry about how you're feeling,

Not blaming yourself,

Not trying to go against the feelings,

But rather being with them and giving them a big hug.

Be it to your physical tension,

Physical sensations or maybe your mental sensations.

Now,

After scanning throughout the entire body,

I invite you to bring awareness,

Bring attention to the area of your lower abdomen and the pelvic area.

This is where many of the symptoms of PMS are felt.

But if it's right now for you located somewhere else,

I would invite you to bring awareness to wherever that is.

If you're feeling a headache,

Oftentimes we also have headache.

Whatever,

Wherever it is,

Allow yourself to visualize a warm,

Comforting light in this area.

With each breath in,

You're imagining this light growing bigger,

Brighter,

Warmer.

And it's soothing any discomfort or pain.

And as you exhale,

You are imagining you're releasing any tension or any discomfort you might have in this area.

So breathing in,

Feeling that light glowing,

Growing,

Warming that space.

And as you exhale,

It dissolves into that space of support.

It's okay.

You'll be alright.

Thank you.

I'm sorry and I love you.

It's okay.

It will be alright.

Thank you.

I'm sorry.

I love you.

It's okay.

It will be alright.

I'm sorry.

And I love you.

And now,

After hugging that beautiful space with loving awareness,

Loving kindness,

Sensations,

With that beautiful light,

I invite you to silently repeat the affirmations I'll be saying to yourself.

And just feel them,

Allow them to sink in deeper and deeper into that beautiful space of your body.

I honor and listen to my body.

I honor and listen to my body.

I honor and listen to my body.

I'm gentle and compassionate to myself.

I'm gentle and compassionate to myself.

I'm gentle and compassionate to myself.

I'm gentle and compassionate to myself.

I release tension I release tension and embrace relaxation.

I release tension and I embrace relaxation.

I release tension and I embrace relaxation.

I am in tune with my body's natural rhythms.

I am in tune with my body's natural rhythms.

I am in tune with my body's natural rhythms.

I am strong and I am resilient.

I am strong and I am resilient.

And allowing those beautiful affirmations sink deeper and deeper into your body into your breath,

Into yourself.

Imagining yourself now in a beautiful,

Peaceful serene space.

This could be anywhere.

This could be anywhere.

This could be anywhere.

This could be anywhere.

This could be anywhere.

It could be a beach or a lush forest or a cozy room.

Wherever you feel the most at peace right now.

Wherever is the space that you would like to be right now.

Now visualize yourself there resting.

Resting completely from a place of love.

You are surrounded by the sounds,

Sights and smells that are bringing you a sense of calm and relaxation.

Allowing this visualization to fill you with a deep sense of peace and well-being.

Now gently bring your awareness back to your breath.

Taking a few more deep breaths here.

Inhaling peace and exhaling any remaining tension that exists.

With each breath,

Feel your body becoming more relaxed and at ease.

Each breath you take,

You bring more peace,

More love and kindness towards that beautiful body of yours.

And with each exhale,

You release any physical tension or mental patterns that might be holding your weight.

And as you deepen your breath,

You invite little gentle movements into your beautiful body.

Whatever movements you like,

Maybe eventually a full body stretch.

Allowing yourself to sigh it out if you like.

Or yawning.

Embracing that space where you want to be.

Or yawning.

Embracing that space where you are with gentle kindness towards yourself and then bringing the hands to touch your heart.

One hand touches the heart,

The other hand on top of that hand.

And just take a moment to connect with that beautiful beating heart of yours.

Which is here to remember that you are alive no matter how you're feeling.

There are days where we wake up full speed,

Full energy,

And there are days where we need more rest.

That's just the beautiful nature of life.

And our cycles are here to remind us that if we allow ourselves to listen to the signs that our bodies are giving us,

If we respond with what exactly the body is asking for,

Then we come back to that ease.

Always from that place of love.

So once you feel you're ready,

After hugging your heart,

After thanking yourself for taking the time,

You can bring the hands in prayer position in front of your heart.

Anjali Mudra this time.

Start rubbing the palms,

Rubbing the palms.

Imagining that power of your hands,

It's creating that beautiful light,

That soothing light.

If you were hugging,

Healing yourself before and then once you have enough heat,

You can bring that light,

That power,

That energy in whatever part of your body that you feel you need care,

That you want to carry that with you as you go off to practice.

And once you're ready,

You can gently release the hands down,

Blink your eyes open,

Just take a moment to observe where you're at.

Thanking yourself for showing up and from that space,

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time.

And may you remember to keep taking the time again and again.

Not only when you're extremely exhausted,

But just listening to the different signs that your body keeps sending you.

And if this practice has resonated with you,

It would mean a lot to me if you could share that with someone special to you.

Or maybe even share with me down in the comments how it has helped you,

How it has served you.

From my heart to yours,

I hope to see you in our next practice together.

Namaste.
