Hello and welcome to your Root Chakra meditation.
This is Bec.
Our Root Chakra is our first chakra located at the base of the spine between the sitting bones.
This chakra is represented by the color red.
You can start to visualize this now and start to connect to the energy of your Root Chakra,
The sense of grounding,
Of birthing.
Not only does it represent the basic necessities of life such as our finances,
Food,
Water,
Shelter and connection but it also represents our connection to the earth.
This is a great chakra for you to work with when you feel you need some more grounding in your life or if you would just like to strengthen your connection with the earth.
Begin by bringing yourself into a comfortable seated position.
The spine is long,
Even weight between sitting bones and your shoulders,
Neck and jaw relaxed.
Take a moment to still your mind and your body and start to connect deeply with your natural breath.
Feeling the breath moving in and out of your nostrils.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest and your belly with the breath.
Connect to the energy and bring your awareness to your Root Chakra,
Visualizing this red orb of light at the base of your spine.
Feel the energy of the Root Chakra descending down towards the earth.
Set the intention now of re-energizing your Root Chakra and reinvigorating your connection with the earth.
Now sense all of the parts of your body that are in contact with the earth and visualize literal roots connected to your body traveling down towards the earth.
Anchor yourself here,
Steady and center yourself.
As you anchor yourself here and tune into this grounding energy,
Just observe,
Notice any thoughts,
Feelings,
Emotions that arise for you around your connection with the earth and your connection to these themes of the Root Chakra.
Stay here in your own energy for the next few breaths.
Anchor into this feeling of grounding,
Of earthing,
Of stability that can be provided when our Root Chakra is nice and balanced and flowing with energy.
You can stay in this meditative state as long as you need to,
And particularly if you feel like you need more grounding today.
When you are ready to come back,
You can begin to slowly and gently deepen your breath.
Breathing into the entire length of your body.
Maybe bringing a gentle sway into your physical body.
When you feel ready,
You can gently blink open your eyes and come back into your space.
