Hello friend.
It's a beautiful day for a walk today.
One of the greatest things about meditation is that it brings awareness together with non-judgment.
Just observation.
Noticing.
And that's what we will do in today's walking meditation.
Welcome in that full body breath,
Long and slow.
If it is safe for you to do so,
Blink slowly as you breathe.
Noticing any tension in your face and allowing it to release all those tiny muscles.
Allow your next exhale to melt down the back of your neck.
And your shoulders.
Your arms can follow the natural movements as you walk.
Letting muscles in your hands and fingers release sending another full breath to the lower half of your body.
Notice your hips.
Knees.
Ankles.
Notice the natural rhythm of the pace you are most comfortable with today.
Feeling the bottoms of your feet take turns moving you forward contact of the heel rolling up toward the ball.
Toes kissing the ground before they lift.
Observing how your steps and breath work in tandem to build this flow.
Shifting from your internal environment to external.
How does the air feel on your skin?
The weather,
The sun.
Allow it to feel refreshing.
And revitalizing.
As you breathe,
Notice any smells.
Cool crisp air,
Brush cut grass.
Blooming flowers.
Are you tasting anything as you are walking?
Maybe water or coffee Take a moment to savor a sip.
You Now observing sounds starting closest to you.
Your feet on the ground your breathing bird singing.
Crickets chirping other people or cars nearby.
Listening now to distant sounds like traffic or planes you you Lastly,
Taking in what you see.
Nature or solid structures.
Notice the textures and colors.
And even if you walk this path often.
Imagine you're seeing it all for the very first time.
Returning to your body once again.
Notice your breath and your gait.
Your walking pace and rhythm.
You you Spend a moment sending gratitude to your body for its strength and health to allow you to walk this path.
Gratitude for the ability to take full,
Long breaths that give you life.
You may continue to walk on or begin to finish up your walk for today.
It was such a pleasure to join you in this experience.
I hope this walking meditation was able to help you find some peace and calm in your day.
To give you a little bit of a reset and bring you back to gratitude and your breath.
And of course allowing you to observe.
Without judgment.
Sending endless love.
And divine light.
