When you are seated comfortably,
Take three deeply cleansing breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
And as you allow your breathing to return to its natural state,
Allow any thoughts or feelings that arise to simply fall away.
As you continue to breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth,
Arrive back here in your body as you are.
As you allow your body to sink deeper and deeper into the earth beneath you,
Whether that be on a seat that's held by the air or feet on the ground,
Know that you are deeply supported and as you continue to breathe into your body,
Start to become aware of the natural in and out flow of your breath.
Do not judge,
Just simply observe the in and the out flow of your breath.
And as you feel your body relax and become aware,
Think to yourself now,
Sat in nature,
This could be beside your favourite place or somewhere you've not yet visited.
Take two deeply cleansing breaths in and out and start to notice what you see,
What colours are before you.
How does the earth feel beneath your feet?
What sounds can you hear,
What nature sounds around you?
Are there any strong smells or subtle smells?
And as you start to observe where you are now,
Seated or stood in this place,
I invite you to start walking.
Notice how there is no judgement,
There is no rush here.
How do you feel as you gently put one foot in front of the other and as you continue to walk,
I invite you to look around at your surroundings.
How does it feel to surrender to the beautiful sounds?
What season is it?
How does the earth feel beneath your feet?
Feel as the fresh air fills your lungs and the calm serenity that surrounds you.
As you continue to walk,
You come across a plant or a tree and you decide to sit beside it.
This could be a tree or a plant that resembles something for you or it could be the first thing that comes into your mind.
Just sit here for a minute,
Notice how you feel without judgement and really start to observe this plant or tree.
What colours is it made up of?
What surrounds it?
What can you learn from it?
And I invite you now to offer something,
Perhaps that could be a gem or a crystal you are carrying,
A kind word or something else that comes to mind as a gratitude offering for this plant or tree.
Once you have done that,
I invite you to ask or consider what you can learn,
What you can take away from the medicine of this plant or tree.
When you have received that,
I invite you to stand back up,
Allow the fresh air to fill your lungs and give thank you to that.
Inspired by the nature that surrounds you and all that you can learn,
You continue to walk gently placing one foot in front of the other and you start to realise that the nature that you are in awe of that surrounds you is very much a part of you.
There is so much that you can learn from nature and a lot of that that you can learn resides within you.
And now as you continue to take each step forward,
You stand taller,
More grounded.
You now start to notice that you need not wait until you can return to nature again because you already know that it is in,
It is within you.
If you want to take two deeply cleansing breaths in and out,
I invite you to return back into the room that you are sat in and when you are ready to open back up your eyes.
