I know that's a new one,
Right?
Of course,
Keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes open if you're driving.
We're going to do a quick body scan and smile at our body in the process.
Are you ready?
Let's begin.
I invite you to place your left hand in the center of your chest,
Also known as your heart space area,
And place your right hand right above your navel,
Also known as your solar plexus chakra,
As long as you're not driving.
Take a deep breath in through the nose with a loud exhale from the mouth.
Let's do that together.
Deep breath in and a loud exhale.
Two more times.
Deep breath in through the nose and a loud exhale from the mouth.
Final time.
Deep breath in through the nose and a long exhale from the mouth.
How does that feel?
Check in with the top of your head and notice how you feel in your head.
You may have thoughts running around,
And that is perfectly fine.
Now smile and say thank you to your thoughts.

Thoughts,
For keeping me moving in life.
Moving down through your face,
Use only your eyes to look to the left.
Now look to the right.
Now return your eyes back to center and say thank you,
Eyes,
For vision and all that I see.
Take a deep breath through your nose and breathe in and notice what you smell.
Smile and then say thank you,
Nose,
For all of the odors,
Scents,
Fragrances,
And aromas that you smell.
Lovely.
Now bring a big smile to your face as you give thanks for your mouth,
Teeth,
Gums,
And tongue for all they do.
Thank you,
Teeth,
Mouth,
Tongue,
And gums,
For all the foods and drinks that I'm able to enjoy.
This is turning into a gratitude practice as well,
Right?
Coming down your shoulders,
Let's take a deep breath in and bring your shoulders up to your ears and drop them with a loud exhale.
So breathe in,
Shoulders up to your ears,
And drop them with a loud exhale.
Smile and give thanks to your shoulders for bearing the weight of all you put on them.

For all you carry every day.

Now moving to the heart space area.
Begin to rub your chest and smile as you give thanks to your heart and lungs for all they do every day.
Rub in that heart space and across your entire chest.
Thank you,
Heart and lungs,
For breath and keeping me alive.
Beautiful work.
Now begin to rub your solar plexus and smile.
Thank you,
Stomach and all my internal organs,
For all you do to keep me moving in this body.
I thank you for the nudges and intuition that you provide.
