Welcome to this guided meditation designed to help you navigate the difficult emotions following a breakup.
Please find a comfortable position,
Whether sitting or lying down,
And just close your eyes.
Allow yourself to settle into a space of quiet reflection and healing.
Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose,
Feeling your chest and belly expand.
Hold the breath at the top for a moment,
And slowly exhale through your mouth.
Repeat this several times,
Inhaling nice and full and deep,
Pausing at the top,
And release.
With each inhale and exhale,
Allow each breath to bring you to a sense of calm and presence.
With each breath,
Imagine releasing any tension or stress,
And setting the intention to allow yourself to heal.
Allow the rhythm of your breath to become a soothing anchor,
Grounding you into this present moment.
Imagine there are liquid tree roots growing from beneath you,
Making its way through the rocks and the dirt and the earth,
Grounding yourself into Mother Earth,
Allowing her to hold you and nurture you,
Comfort you,
And heal you.
As you continue to breathe in and out your nose,
Gently bring your awareness to your feelings.
It's natural to experience a wide range of emotions after a breakup,
Sadness,
Anger,
Confusion,
Even relief.
Without judgment,
Just acknowledge these feelings.
Imagine them as clouds passing through the sky of your mind.
Observe them,
But do not hold onto them.
Allow yourself to release the grip.
Allow them to drift away.
With each exhale,
Focusing on and embracing self-compassion.
Silently repeat to yourself,
I am worthy of love.
I am worthy of respect.
I am stronger than I realize.
And this breakup does not reflect on who I am or my self-worth.
Imagine these affirmations surrounding you like a warm cocoon of light,
A comforting blanket provided by the divine.
Let them fill you with a sense of peace and empowerment.
Visualize yourself in a future where you feel content and fulfilled.
When you are on the other side of this pain,
It will calm if you allow yourself to release the emotion you're feeling right now.
First,
Acknowledge them.
They're real.
This did happen to you.
And it hurts.
But you will be okay.
Allow yourself to be filled with love and joy and peace and ease and grace.
Allow yourself to forgive yourself.
And forgive the other party.
And know that with every adversity comes an equal or greater benefit.
And that this relationship did serve a purpose.
What did you learn from it?
Did you compromise your beliefs?
Did you sacrifice your ideals?
Set the intention right here,
Right now,
To not repeat the same pattern.
Take what you learned and be grateful for the lessons.
Be grateful for the teacher that this person was to you.
That whatever you experienced in this relationship was to help you evolve and expand and grow.
Allow yourself to forgive.
Forgive yourself.
It's okay.
Forgive them.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Release it into the universe.
Release it into the ethers.
And be right here,
Right now,
In this moment.
As you are healing and releasing and resolving.
And recalibrating.
Imagine as you're lying here in this safe container.
That the sun is shining warmly on your face.
Symbolizing new beginnings.
Fresh opportunities that are soon to come your way.
Feel the love and light in your heart as you embrace this vision of hope and renewal.
You are perfect exactly as you are.
You are enough,
My friend.
You are enough.
Allow your body to stay soft.
Stay present.
Stay right here,
Right now.
And step into your power.
Take your power back.
You are light.
You are love.
You are perfect.
And you are okay.
When you're ready,
Come back into your body.
Feel your grounding connection to Mother Earth.
Knowing that she's got you.
You're safe.
You are healing.
Breath by breath.
Moment by moment.
You are coming into alignment.
Into the flow of the universe.
Release what no longer serves you.
Understanding that healing is a journey.
Be patient and kind to yourself.
Knowing that each day,
Each moment,
Each breath brings a new beginning.
A new strength.
A new clarity.
Allow yourself to embrace this present moment.
Allow yourself to be in it.
In this moment.
Releasing the past.
Not worrying about the future.
Be right here,
Right now.
And know that this is just a part of your journey.
And you will be okay.
You will be okay.
Sending peace and love.
And ease and grace.
And healing.
Namaste,
My friends.
Namaste.
