Expanding the diaphragm on the inhale and contracting on the exhale.
Focus on long,

Just breathe in a way that feels best for you.
As you breathe,
Take yourself inward and feel your sitting bones on the floor.
Imagine that you have roots coming out of the base of your spine and they are growing into the ground,
Connecting you to the earth.
Earth,
Air,
Water,
And fire are around us and in all of us.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out,
Feeling the connection with the ground beneath you.
As you breathe in,
Feel the energy of the earth coming up and through you.
Breathe in and out.
Connect to the fire within you that burns deep inside,
Keeping the sparks of life alive.
Imagine the sun on your skin and on the top of your head and breathe in and out as you feel the sun's warmth all over your body.
Connect to the water inside you,
Your blood that carries nutrients to your cells and connect to the water around you that keeps you cleansed and hydrated.
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Long,
Slow,
Deep inhales and long,
Slow,
Deep exhales.
Connect to the air we breathe from inside to outside and breathe in,
Giving thanks to the air that keeps us alive.
Take a deep inhale from the base of your spine all the way up to the top of your head.
Hold for just a few moments and when you feel ready,
Exhale and breathe it out.
