Welcome to this guided meditation on meeting your future children,
Child.
My name is Joy Brown and I will be leading you today in this guided meditation.
To begin,
Take a seat or lay down,
Get comfortable,
And close your eyes.
To start,
Take some deep breaths in,
Filling your lungs with air.
Hold your breath for three seconds,
Then exhale out through your mouth in a big sigh.
Picture a playground,
Either one from your childhood or just a general playground.
Take a seat at a bench at this playground.
You can see children playing and laughing,
Just having fun.
Your child is among them.
Hold no expectation as to what this child will be like.
Stay open to receive and let them come to you.
Give gratitude for what you have experienced here.
Keep it in your heart.
Bring your awareness to your body,
To your breathing.
Slowly begin to move and open your eyes.
