Hello and welcome everyone to this tapping into your higher self meditation.
My name is Ashley mindfulness teacher and coach at unique holistic happiness.
For this meditation,
I invite you to either sit or lie down.
Whatever you choose,
Let's start by grounding into our breath and our body.
Exhaling out your breath wherever you're at and taking a slow deep inhale through your nose.
And exhale,
Let it go.
Two more times just like that inhaling really grounding into the breath and the body here.
And exhale,
Let it go.
Last time,
Inhale deep slow breath and exhale.
And from this grounded,
Relax state,
Starting to bring our awareness to our mind's eye,
Our third eye center,
That place right between the eyebrows.
And from this place,
I want you to imagine yourself standing in the middle of a big,
Beautiful field.
And as you stand in the middle of this amazing,
Beautiful field,
You can feel the sun on your skin.
You feel joyful.
You feel alive.
And as you soak in this moment,
Way off in the distance,
You can see a quaint little cottage with smoke coming from the chimney.
And you feel yourself gently being pulled with curiosity toward the cottage.
Slowly and mindfully,
You start walking through the field,
Taking your time one foot in front of the other.
And as you walk,
You continue to notice the soft grass beneath your feet.
You feel a warm breeze.
And your fingers might even brush the top of the high grass.
And as you walk,
You can feel the soft grass beneath your feet.
And as you walk,
The cottage gets closer and closer.
And soon you see a cobblestone path right before you.
You step onto the cobblestone path,
And that cobblestone path leads you to the front porch of this wooden cottage.
You softly step up onto the porch,
And you approach the door.
You have a soft,
Subtle smile on your face,
And you knock three times on the heavy wooden door.
A moment later,
The door gently opens,
And you are surprised,
Yet excited,
To see that the person behind the door is you.
She kindly invites you in to sit at a round kitchen table where a kettle and two coffee cups are already set out.
She was expecting you.
And as you look into your future self's eyes,
Your highest self's eyes,
You see a light.
You notice a confidence,
A vibrance,
A joy about who she is.
Take a moment here to breathe into that energy,
Breathe into that vibrance.
As you sit there chatting with her,
Joyfully and excited,
Even kind of giddy,
You turn to her and ask her,
What do I need to know?
What guidance and wisdom do you have for me?
What do I need to remember?
A soft smile crosses her face as she takes a deep breath and answers.
Feeling comforted and grounded in your highest self's wisdom,
You take one more sip of your tea and you rise up from the table.
Almost as if you're floating,
You walk yourself to the door.
But before you reach for the doorknob,
You turn around to greet your future self one more time.
You give her a big,
Loving hug.
And as you do so,
She whispers one more reminder in your ear.
Closing your eyes,
You take a big,
Deep breath in,
Grounding into this wisdom and allowing it to settle into your heart.
As you turn toward the door,
You feel confident,
Strong,
Content.
You walk out the door,
Down the steps and back out onto the cobblestone path.
You turn back one more time,
Glancing at the cottage,
And you know in your heart that you can come visit your future self,
Your highest self,
Anytime you'd like.
She is always there waiting for you with a warm cup of tea.
Once again,
Feeling the warm sun on your skin,
The soft breeze as you walk back out into the field,
Feeling more alive,
More connected to your joy than ever.
You feel safe.
As you take a deep breath in,
You slowly start to come back into the present moment.
And gently starting to feel back into your body,
Either sitting or lying on the floor.
And take some gentle wiggles into the fingers,
Or maybe take the neck in a couple circles in one direction and then the other.
Starting to become aware of the body in this present moment.
Taking both hands over your heart.
Let's take a breath here,
Inhaling through the nose,
Breathe into that joy,
That gratitude,
That connection,
That love that you felt in the presence of your highest self.
And exhale,
Let it go.
