Letting Go + Stepping Into Ease
We all have something we would love to let go of - a limiting belief, the outcome of a situation, or even a toxic relationship. Letting go is a process and a practice. This meditation will guide you through the process of letting go and releasing what's holding you back so you can feel lighter and be filled with more ease.

Hello and welcome to this meditation on letting go and stepping into more ease.
You know,
I haven't met a single person who hasn't wanted to let go of something.
An unhealthy habit,
A toxic relationship,
The outcome of a situation,
A limiting belief.
And people tell us all the time,
Just let it go,
Just release it,
It's not a big deal.
But as much as I would love to believe that it's that easy,
Letting go really is a process.
It's not a one and done deal.
Letting go is a pulling back of all the layers.
So feel free to come back to this meditation as often as you need to continue that process of letting go.
And if you're listening to this meditation,
You're ready.
You are ready to fully release what has been holding you back from living your best life.
And you deserve that freedom.
You deserve that ease and you deserve to feel good.
So let's get started.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Whatever shape you choose,
Turn the palms upward toward the sky.
And starting to settle into the present moment,
Feeling the weight of your body,
The temperature of your body,
The sounds that might be surrounding you.
And then drawing your awareness into the breath by watching it as it moves in through the nose and out through the nose.
Don't try to change it,
Just witnessing it,
Allowing yourself to observe it.
On your next inhale,
Gently draw the shoulders up toward the ears.
And on your exhale,
Let your shoulders relax,
Either open mouth or through the nose.
Exhale.
Two more times just like that.
Inhale,
Draw the shoulders up toward your ears.
And exhale,
Let them relax.
Let it go.
One more time.
Inhale,
Big deep breath in,
Draw the shoulders up toward the ears.
And exhale,
Release,
Relax,
Let go.
Take one more moment here to scan the body from the very top of the head all the way down to the toes.
For any more tension,
Ensuring that the place right between the eyebrows is soft,
The jaw relaxes,
The shoulders are relaxed,
Hips,
Knees,
Feet,
From this relaxed state.
I want you to kindly and compassionately invite in one thing that has really been weighing you down,
Something you've been carrying around for far too long,
Something you've been beating yourself up about.
Maybe it's something that feels really heavy.
Maybe you've been putting a ton of pressure on yourself to lose weight.
Maybe you've been putting a ton of pressure on yourself to get it all done or be perfect.
Maybe it's a relationship that's been really draining you.
Maybe it's a thought or a limiting belief that just keeps pestering you.
Whatever it is,
Start to visualize it in the palm of your hands.
It might be a word,
It might be an image,
It might be a feeling.
Whatever it is,
Feel that thing in the palm of your hands here and slowly start to draw the fingertips in toward the palms,
Closing your hands into fists,
Holding on to that thing and starting to notice the effort it takes to hold on,
To grasp,
To attach.
Start holding on to that thing for the next couple of breaths here.
Feel it in the palms of your hands.
Feel the heaviness.
Feel that weight.
And with your next breath,
Let it be easy,
Take an inhale breath through the nose.
And on your exhale,
Start to unfurl the fingertips,
Opening up the palms to the sky,
Releasing that energy,
That weight,
That thing,
Whatever it is for you,
Let it go.
Starting with that energy of release,
Lightness,
Giving yourself that gift,
That baggage you no longer have to carry around with you.
Let it go.
Let it be easy.
Drawing the palms together to touch,
Gently start to rub your palms together,
Creating some friction,
Creating some heat,
Literally washing your hands of this thing.
Rubbing your hands together.
You can go fast or slow.
And then when you're ready,
Releasing the hands back down,
Palms face up.
Feeling the freedom and joy and lightness and expansion of letting go.
Imagining what's possible for you without this thing no longer weighing you down.
And feeling into these words,
Today I step deeper into trust.
I am capable of letting go.
I am capable of making the necessary shifts and changes into a higher vibration,
Into peace,
Into ease.
When I let go,
When I trust,
I am able to step fully into my best life.
Take a breath here,
Inhaling through the nose.
Allow to release any residualness,
Any last bit of tension,
Freeing yourself even deeper.
Thank you so much for meditating with me today.
I hope you have a day full of ease,
Of trust.
Namaste.

It was really fantastic as well as heart-churningly painful because I was already heavy with deep hurt and an upset mindset. I was deeply hurt last night with my partner and cried buckets. But this meditation truly helped release a bit in this turmoilous mind-body situation. Going to come back here more often to feel safer and freer.🙏❤️🌺🙌 Deeply grateful.🙏❤️🌺

Wow! This was such a powerful and comforting meditation. In fact, it is the best “letting go” meditation I’ve ever had—and I’ve tried so many. I cried and cried, which is good. Thanks you so much!

Perfect reminder, in hospital, recuperating from broken femur, again perfect! 6/10/23- update! I have listen to this guided meditation many times since the original, each time I hear your joy, your care, the gentle nudging and wisdom. Your guiding me through the proverbial peeling back of the layers of the onion to embrace the inner knowing and awareness of I am on my path although it might be how expected, is the gift you give me, I am grateful 🙏☮️💜 BTW- a totally not related to above but also a part, your delivery is magical, a big part of why I return .
