Hello and welcome meditators to this candlelight gazing meditation.
My name is Ashley.
I will be your guide for this meditation today.
This meditation is great for those who are really wanting to find some release,
Some relaxation while also tapping into the fire within them.
This meditation will help you relax and also inspire you to light the fire and the energy that is already within you.
If you have a candle handy,
Please feel free to grab it now.
Otherwise you can simply imagine in your mind's eye a candle flame.
I have my candle ready and I'm going to be doing this right along with you.
So when you feel ready,
Go ahead and consciously and intentionally and with so much love,
Light your candle.
And taking a couple nice big deep breaths here.
Be nice and comfortable,
Allowing your body to fully relax as you inhale and exhale in through the nose and out through the nose.
And with your eyes open,
Start to notice the qualities of the candlelight.
Notice the way the flame moves and dances.
Notice how sometimes the light gets big and other times small.
Noticing the color of the flame.
Notice how the flame shifts from maybe a soft blue to a bright yellow or an orange.
Does the candle you lit have a smell to it?
Can you lean in and notice a scent?
With your eyes still on this beautiful candlelight flame,
Maybe your hands drift over the top of the flame and you notice the warmth.
Notice the intensity of the warmth given off by this single flame.
Notice how this light brightens the room that you're in.
This one single flame illuminates the room that you're in.
Continuing to gaze deeply at this candlelight flame.
Notice the pool of wax that starts to accumulate at the bottom of the wick.
And as you notice here,
Imagine the stress,
Any challenges,
Anything that's holding you back.
Can you allow those things to simply melt away?
Can you allow those things to release?
Breathing in here,
Take a deep breath in through the nose and exhale.
Let it go and as you do so,
Imagine all the tension melting away,
Releasing,
Relaxing with each and every breath.
Feeling the relaxation to be easy.
And saying to yourself now,
Either to yourself or out loud,
I release what no longer serves me.
I release what no longer serves me.
I release what no longer serves me.
And from here,
Taking your left hand and placing it over the solar plexus,
So that place right where the ribs separate.
This is the place of your fire,
Your inspiration,
Your motivation.
And with your hand on this place,
Imagine this flame burning within you.
Imagine this light that you see flickering right in front of you,
Burning inside.
Seeing this light lighting you up,
Warming you up from the inside out.
With any fire and light,
It needs oxygen to breathe,
Oxygen to get bigger.
So let's use that breath now,
That hand right on the solar plexus.
Take a nice big deep breath in,
Breathe into that light in your belly,
Breathe it in,
Allow it to grow bigger and bigger and bigger and exhale,
Let it go.
Two more times just like that,
Inhale,
Breathe it in,
Allow that light to grow,
To warm you,
To motivate you from the inside out and exhale,
Let it go.
One more time here together,
Breathe in,
Allow that light to warm you up,
To expand,
To grow and exhale,
Let it go.
And dropping your hand back down into your lap,
Breathing naturally here,
Opening up your eyes if they have somehow closed,
Bringing your awareness back into this beautiful candlelight inflamed and saying to yourself or out loud,
The light I seek is already within me.
The light I seek is already within me.
The light I seek is already within me.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and on your exhale,
Blow out the candlelight flame.
