Thank you for joining me tonight.
For a simple bedtime gratitude practice.
Together we'll look back across your day.
And find three good things.
Three small moments worth keeping and carrying forward.
This is a simple practice,
But it changes the last thing your mind touches before sleep.
And that is a powerful thing.
Settling into your bed now.
Letting your body grow heavy.
Letting your eyes close whenever they're ready.
And taking one slow,
Deep breath in through the nose.
And a long soft sigh out through the mouth.
Let's begin.
The first thing.
Somewhere in your day,
There was a moment that felt good.
It doesn't need to be big.
A warm drink.
A message from someone.
A few minutes of quiet.
The feeling of coming home.
Let one moment come to you now.
Bringing it back in detail.
Where you were.
What it felt like.
And letting yourself enjoy it a second time.
I am grateful for this moment.
The second good thing.
Something you did today.
Something you handled.
We're finished.
Or simply showed up for.
Maybe you were patient when it was hard.
Maybe you were kind when no one noticed.
Maybe you just kept going.
Let one thing come to you now.
Give yourself some appreciation for just showing up in this small way.
I am grateful for how I showed up.
And the third good thing,
Someone or something that supported you today.
A person.
A place.
Your own body.
The simple fact of a warm bed to lie down in.
Let one thing or person come to you now.
You were held today in ways you may not have stopped to see,
And that is worth being grateful for.
I am grateful for the support in my life.
Three good things.
Something you felt.
Something you did.
And the way you were supported.
They were part of your day the whole time.
And tonight,
You gathered them up.
So let them settle in as you drift to sleep.
And if it feels right.
You can join me in these words.
Good things happened today.
Good things happen every day.
I notice what is going well.
Gratitude expands my capacity for joy.
My last thoughts tonight are kind ones.
There is enough in my life.
I am safe.
I am Hell.
I welcome the night with gratitude.
Tomorrow,
I will look for three more good things.
Tomorrow will bring more good things into my life.
May I rest deeply.
May I awake feeling grateful.
May all beings rest tonight in peace.
Thank you for these 3 good things.
Thank you for sleep and as you drift off to sleep.
Let these three good things stay with you.
Reminding you that life is good.
Sleep well.
