
Self-Care Meditation
This session consists of two parts. First, we will do a few eye yoga exercises to calm the physical body and more specifically: the vagus nerve. And after that, we will continue with the meditation and work with/on our spiritual bodies. The vagus nerve is the most important parasympathetic nerve of our nervous system. The vagus nerve plays an essential role in how our body responds to stress. Recent studies have shown that activating and strengthening the vagus nerve can provide significant benefits to our health and reduce our stress levels. Eye yoga exercises are a simple manner to heal the vagus nerve. The meditation which follows allows you in a unique manner to heal yourself AND if you like you can also send some of this powerful healing energy to other people who you feel might need it.

Welcome to this session.
This session consists of two parts.
First,
We will do some special eye yoga exercises to calm the most important nerve of our parasympathetic nervous system.
And after that,
We will continue with the meditation.
I will shortly explain why we're going to do these special eye yoga exercises and that's because the vagus nerve especially benefits from relaxation.
You can recognize a poorly functioning vagus nerve by various symptoms such as feelings of stress,
Chronic fatigue,
Anxiety or forgetfulness.
The vagus nerve is a nerve that comes from the brain and goes to the organs in the chest and the abdomen.
And this nerve plays an essential role in how our body responds to stress.
So now we will start.
And you can do this exercise both lying down or sitting down.
So find your favorite position.
You may cross your arms,
So hold your shoulders.
And it doesn't matter which arm is above the other.
And also cross your legs.
So when you're in the right position,
First start by breathing deeply in and out a few times.
So breathe in deeply.
And then you breathe out.
And one more time,
Breathe in deeply.
And breathe out.
And one more time,
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
And the final time,
Breathe in.
And let go again.
And then,
For a moment,
Take some time to land.
Yeah,
To just be.
And try just to be without any judgments.
We all went through a lot of things today.
Or perhaps you had a very quiet day or a quiet morning or whatever happened to you.
It's all okay and we're here now.
And let's try to make the best of it.
And we're going to start with some eye yoga movements today.
And for this you can slowly open your eyes.
And you keep your head straight.
If you're lying down or sitting down,
Just keep sitting straight.
And your arms crossed and your legs crossed.
And then so you just open your eyes.
You gaze forward firstly.
And then start to move your eyes from left to right.
From left to right.
And you just do this for a few moments.
Left,
Right,
Left,
Right,
Left,
Right,
Left,
Right,
Left,
Right,
Left,
Right.
And then you may close your eyes again.
And perhaps you want to take another deep breath.
And let go again.
And you already can start to feel maybe some pressure around your eyes.
That's the eye muscles which start to complain.
Then you open your eyes softly again.
And then you look up and you look down.
You look up and you look down.
And you don't move your head.
You just do this with your eyes.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
And close your eyes again.
And then you open your eyes again.
And then you look up to the left corner,
Upper corner.
And then you look down to the right corner.
And you look up to the left corner.
And down again to the right corner.
So left,
Right,
Left,
Right.
So you keep going.
Diagonal.
So you keep going to the left corner and the right,
Lower corner.
Left,
Upper corner.
Right,
Lower corner.
And then you close your eyes again.
And just sense for a moment the effects.
It's all okay.
It's all okay.
And then you open your eyes again and you're going to do the opposite.
So you go first to the right,
Upper corner.
And then the left,
Lower corner.
Right,
Upper corner.
Left,
Lower corner.
Up again and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
Up and down.
And close your eyes again.
And again,
Just feel what happens.
And for the next one,
I'm going to explain you what to do.
It's very simple.
And then I will say out loud some affirmations.
And if they resonate with you,
You can repeat them within yourself.
So very slowly you open your eyes again and then you look up.
And then you go in a circle and up again.
And you make another circle and you go up again.
So you go clockwise.
You keep making these circles with your eyes.
And if it resonates with you,
You repeat what I'm saying in yourself.
I know my true voice.
I adore myself.
And keep doing the eyes.
My feminine and masculine energies are in balance.
I love myself.
I am complete.
I make the world more beautiful.
And then please close your eyes again.
One more exercise and then your eyes can relax again.
So just keep them closed for some time.
Yes,
You can feel it,
But it's all okay.
After this session,
You won't feel anything anymore.
And then you open your eyes again.
And you again look up,
But your head stays straight.
And then you go anti-clockwise,
Making circles.
So you go down and up.
Left,
Down,
Right and up.
So keep making these circles with your eyes,
Anti-clockwise.
And repeat again the affirmations which I'm going to tell you.
I am safe.
I am connected to myself.
I express myself easily.
I am connected to my intuition.
I dare to show myself and be heard.
I take good care of myself.
I am worthy of love.
And then please close your eyes.
And maybe take a deep breath.
And let go again.
And then you can really release your arms and your legs perhaps.
And maybe you want to shake them a little bit.
Shaking is always good.
And then you can rub your hands.
And really do it effectively.
In the sense that you start to feel warm energy in between your hands.
While you are rubbing your hands.
And when you feel that they are warm,
You close your eyes.
And you place the palms of your hands over your eyes for a moment.
And you can choose whether to open your eyes or have your eyes closed.
Whatever works best for you.
And just sense for a moment your own healing energy.
The warmth of your hands.
And be open to receive this energy.
And then if you like you can massage a little bit around your eyes.
Or maybe press a little bit around the eyes.
Whatever works for you.
To release a little bit of the stress of these eye muscles.
And then lower your hands again.
Move your hands away.
And now we will continue with the meditation.
So if you want to keep sitting,
Please keep sitting.
Or if you prefer to lie down,
Please lie down.
And perhaps you want to cover yourself with a blanket.
Depending on where you are.
And make yourself comfortable.
And really relax all your muscles if possible.
Let your body become a little bit heavy.
And just sense what the exercise did for you with the eyes.
Perhaps you don't really sense it right now,
But perhaps you will sense it at a later point.
The effect.
It is another way to calm the nervous system.
So perhaps this was new to you or perhaps you know about this technique.
And what I enjoy in life is to try and practice different techniques.
So also observe where is your attention now.
Is it around the eyes?
Can you still sense it?
And if yes,
Just be there for a moment with your attention.
Your body is allowed to feel the effects.
This is the physical effect from the exercise.
But it of course also has a deeper effect on this important nerve.
Which manages your stress levels in your body.
And then become aware of your root chakra.
And visualize again a connection with Mother Earth.
And it doesn't matter where you are,
At which level you're at.
Everybody has a connection with Mother Earth.
So just see it,
Visualize it.
Perhaps you can sense it.
It's all okay.
And perhaps you can visualize that your connection is going very deep and deep and deeper and deeper into Mother Earth.
And when you breathe in,
Take some of this beautiful energy up through a cord or the roots you are visualizing or sensing.
So breathe in.
And take this energy up or bring it in inside your body.
Through the soles of your feet,
Through your root chakra.
At the bottom of your back,
At the bottom of your spine.
I meant to say I was looking for the word.
So breathe in the beautiful energy of Mother Earth.
And perhaps you can already sense the energy flowing inside your body.
And perhaps you can already sense the energy flowing inside your body.
We just have to activate it.
And then please also go towards your crown chakra.
Perhaps you can sense something there.
A flower,
Some pressure.
And with sensing I meant perhaps you can of course sense something.
But I also meant maybe you see something there.
Maybe you visualize something there.
It's all okay.
And also connect to your soul star chakra which is a little bit above your head.
A few inches,
30 centimeters.
Perhaps you can also sense that connection.
And perhaps you can also sense a connection with everybody else through the soul star chakra who is meditating right now.
And breathe in and take some of this loving energy.
The love of the other people but also the love from the cosmos,
The universe.
Take it in.
Bring it through your crown chakra towards your third eye chakra.
Towards the center of your brain and then in a straight line through your throat.
So breathe in again.
Take in the beautiful energy.
The cosmic energy.
And the energy,
The love of everybody joining.
And bring it also to your heart.
And there both energies meet and sort of dance around each other.
And perhaps you can sense this in all your cells.
And perhaps you also want to invite your spirit guide or spirit guides if you have multiple.
And just take some time to invite them and you can do this in your own manner.
You can say something like,
Will you,
My spirit guides,
Also join me for this session?
And then just be quiet and observe what will happen and I will do the same.
And today I would also like to invite the elements and the archangels.
And today I would also like to invite the elements and the archangels again.
This will make the meditation a lot more powerful and this is what we want of course.
And so it doesn't matter if you don't know all the directions of the wind,
From where you're lying now or from where you're sitting,
It's okay.
Just follow me and observe what you sense,
That's most important.
It's always about your own experience,
What you sense.
So from the east side we invite archangel Raphael and we also invite the air elements.
And we can think of the caduceus,
That's the symbol of the pharmacies,
If you think about that shape,
That symbol.
This is what the archangel is carrying,
This kind of torch with the snake around it and the two wings.
And it also brings emerald green energy towards our field at the horizontal plane.
So we're protected from the east side,
The left side for me in this case.
And then we move towards the south and there we invite archangel Michael and we invite the elements fire.
And this angel always carries a sword and brings blue energy and you can just visualize that the angel sort of protects you from all sides of your body.
It's just a kind of protection which we're asking.
Then we move towards the west side and we invite archangel Gabriel and also the element water.
And archangel Gabriel carries a silver chalice,
A kind of cup which pours diamond white energy towards our field from the west side of our bodies.
Just sense if you can feel it,
Observe it,
That something is changing around you,
That's the only thing that matters.
And then from the north side we invite archangel Uriel and also the element earth.
This is also the place from our ancestors and archangel Uriel carries a five-pointed star and brings ruby red energy towards our fields.
And so we're protected from all sides at the horizontal plane.
We already asked for the universal energy but we can also ask some extra power from archangel Metatron from above with the energy also of the great spirits and the angels,
Also our ancestors.
Archangel Metatron always brings down a kind of geometrical figure,
The Christ grid.
It's just a figure and this slowly comes down and it protects us also from above.
So it slowly,
Slowly comes down,
Covers the area where you are now and it comes down on your body and also interlinks or connects with your heart.
And we already asked for some energy from mother earth but we can also do it through archangel Sandolphon to ask more energy from Pachamama,
Mother earth,
From below.
It's all these energies which we normally don't sense or feel or many people probably don't but we're always interconnected with them.
And perhaps you have been through some moments,
Some experiences which you would like to get rid of.
Maybe some stress you faced or maybe you dealt with some traumatic events so maybe it's good again to do some powerful breathing together.
So breathe in and just interlock or take some of all these beautiful powerful energies of all these important light beings who are here to help us.
Take it in and let go of everything you want to get rid of.
So breathe in,
Use their powers,
Use their help and let go of all this negative energy or energy which you no longer need,
Which you sort of carry with you but you're not really aware of this and let go.
And breathe in again and let go.
It's like cleaning yourself,
Detoxing yourself.
From moments you didn't like,
You didn't enjoy,
Situations where you were not at your best,
Let go.
Sometimes people have control over you and you don't like it or you regret it so breathe in deeply and let go again.
Clean yourself in your whole body but also in your auric field,
Your energetic field surrounding your body and let go again.
And just visualize a beautiful purple balloon or a kind of cocoon around yourself which is completely whole,
Which is complete.
This is your own field and of course we're here to learn from our mistakes and the difficulties in life but sometimes we also can take the opportunity to really go back to ourselves,
To heal ourselves and to just feel good about ourselves,
To be proud and just feel your body,
Feel your strength.
Sometimes you just need this and know that you can really trust upon yourself.
Even if you go through hard times in life,
I hope by now that you can really trust upon your own strength,
That you are okay the way you are.
Nobody has a right to influence that or think differently.
You are a beautiful human being and just feel your strength,
Feel the power within your heart.
So go towards your heart,
Make use of all the help,
The energies from all the light beings which are here now.
And what we can visualize is that actually we're all one so if you can feel it,
Feel the energy,
Sense a higher vibration and visualize your own cocoon,
Your own balloon,
Your own auric field around you.
And it doesn't matter where you are,
Whether you're in the US,
Whether you're in Africa,
Whether you're in Asia,
Australia,
Europe,
It doesn't matter where you are.
We all have this powerful field around ourselves and what we can do is we can connect.
So just with your heart,
Open your heart and just visualize that all these balloons,
All our own energies,
Our own love,
Our own hearts are floating towards each other.
Perhaps you get a beautiful image and let's connect,
Let's bring our auric fields together,
Let's make one big powerful balloon,
Cocoon,
How you want to see it.
And let's make this very powerful field of healing and for some people it might help to just visualize that from your heart there is an energy line going from your heart towards your shoulder and from your shoulder towards your left hand and from the left palm of your hand.
In the center there is a chakra and just sense some of this beautiful love,
This power you're feeling right now.
It's like energy,
It's like we're connecting with all the other people right now.
And perhaps you can sense again the energy in your right palm and for other people perhaps this isn't necessary anymore,
You can just sense it that you're in a bigger field,
That your consciousness is rising,
That we're here to help each other on this planet.
That we're here to share the love.
So breathe through your heart,
Breathe through your heart,
Open your heart.
Send love through your left palm,
You can also sense the love from your heart.
Just connect,
Make the beautiful connection with all the other people.
Maybe you're feeling that you are becoming a part of it.
Everything in the world is energy,
Your thoughts are energy,
What you're saying is energy and you have the power to influence.
So let's just send some of this power,
This beautiful power,
This love,
This power of the heart I can better say,
To the people on the planet who need it right now.
And perhaps you think of victims,
Of people in need,
But actually the people who are doing all the hurtful issues,
Who are hurting other people,
Actually perhaps they need it even more.
Because those are the people we need to transform and help to activate their hearts again,
To open their hearts,
To stop the fighting,
To stop this pain.
So whomever you're thinking of,
Just send it to those people.
This can be within your own family,
Within your own circle,
This can be for another country,
For the world,
It's all okay.
Use this transformational power of love.
And of course if you're in pain,
If you need it yourself,
You're also getting it because you're part of it.
This is it.
This is what we can do.
Open your hearts.
Join together.
So breathe through your heart.
Open your heart.
Expand your heart.
And we went very fast again,
You can also do this in small steps.
I immediately went for a connection with all of you from all over the world.
And perhaps we are a floating earth next to mother earth,
Full of power of love.
This is also how our consciousness can travel.
Our soul,
Our hearts are so big,
Are so vast.
There are so many things we can do which we are not aware of,
Which we don't know,
Which we never discuss.
Feel the vastness,
The greatness of this power,
Of this energy,
This loving energy.
And of course you're also healing yourself.
Can you feel it,
Can you sense it?
It's like you're floating.
And enjoy it.
Open your heart.
And I don't need to say much anymore.
I think you can feel it.
This is what we have established together.
It feels like you're floating in this loving energy.
And also keep sending it to the people we can help.
Yeah,
I don't know really what to say.
I'm just enjoying the energy.
I hope you as well.
It's quite strong again.
And it also went pretty fast today.
I didn't even need to say that much.
And if you are feeling some pain in your body,
You can also just go there with your attention and the energy will follow.
So you can really heal yourself from pain.
And then maybe slowly,
Slowly it will become a little bit less.
Or perhaps not.
Perhaps you can still sense the palms of your hands.
And this is really the effect of meditating together.
And this is how you get these beautiful results,
Effects.
But now slowly,
Slowly I sense that it's becoming a little bit less.
We can also disconnect from each other.

And really visualize your own bubble again,
Your own balloon,
Your own powerful field.
Which got sort of supercharged with loving energy from many special beings,
Light beings and all of you.
And sometimes just connecting is all you need.
Knowing that you're not alone in this world,
Or of course you know it,
But sensing it.
And knowing that you're part of a group of powerful souls who are able to transform,
To help the world transform.
And that's one of the most beautiful things to do in life,
In my opinion.
And we can say thanks to our own spirit guides who joined us today.
And we can say thanks to all the Archangels,
Sandolphon,
Metatron,
Uriel,
Gabriel,
Michael and Raphael.

It really gives a sort of a magical touch to the meditation.
And it reminds us that we are a kind of mystical human beings,

Just like the dragons who aren't there anymore,
But probably used to be here as well.
And we also have these gifts,
But we have also forgotten about it.

Hoi Anne Wat een fijne & goede oefening en meditatie. Echt zeer doeltreffend & inspirerend. Voor mij de eerste keer dat ik tijdens een meditatie de armen en zelfs de benen gekruist moest kruisen… dit gaf een zeer beschermend gevoel. De oog oefening was nieuw maar het voelde direct goed. Mooie afsluiting van de oefening met een directe verbinding met mijn hart - jeetje wat een druk- lees energie / het voelde voor mij steeds dat de hoogste vorm van energie, liefde, enorm krachtig aanwezig was.
