This meditation consists of a simple body scan and a visualization. This meditation especially helps children to relax after a busy day, allowing them to fall asleep faster. I also teach children to listen to the voice of their own heart, which they can always trust. Are you going on an adventure in the sea?

Observe if you're sitting in a comfortable place or perhaps you're lying on your bed and you feel the sheets or the blanket over your body.

And just take a moment to relax,

Maybe relax your body,

Relax your forehead,

Relax your jaw,

Relax your tongue.

Feel your neck and feel your shoulders.

Feel your spine.

Feel your lower back.

Feel your left leg and foot.

And feel your right leg and foot.

And then feel your entire body.

And imagine that your body is very heavy and you're sinking deeper and deeper into the chair or onto the bed,

Deeper and deeper,

And your body feels really heavy.

And then breathe in deeply and breathe out.

And one more time,

Breathe in deeply and breathe out.

And one final time,

Breathe in deeply and breathe out.

And just keep breathing in and out through your nose.

And then imagine you are somewhere on a beautiful beach and you're lying in a hammock in between two palm trees.

You just went for a swim and you're lying in the sun,

Drying your skin.

In the background,

You hear some seagulls,

You hear other kids playing,

And you feel a light breeze on your skin.

You've been playing for hours and hours in the water and you needed a little break.

You're enjoying an ice cream with your favorite flavors and you're regaining your energy because you're looking forward to play some more in the water.

You also heard that this is a very famous beach where dolphins appear now and then.

But until now,

You haven't seen any dolphin yet.

But somewhere deep down in your heart,

You know today will be the day.

So you're feeling a little excited and you're not telling anyone because you just know deep in your heart.

So after you finished your ice cream and your skin is fully dried and you're getting hot again because it's a very warm,

Sunny day,

You decide to go to the sea again.

You walk fast over the hot sand towards the water.

You decide to sit down and first observe the waves rolling over your legs and you're playing with the sand in your hands.

And then somewhere far away,

You start to hear some unfamiliar sounds.

And you know this is it.

Here they come.

You look over the water.

Your gaze is wide and somewhere far away you see some movement and you know here they are.

You get up and you walk inside the water and you decide to swim into the direction of the dolphins.

And before you know it,

The first dolphin has reached you.

And suddenly the head of the dolphin is right in front of you and you stare into its eyes.

And it's like you know this dolphin,

You know the soul,

You know this being.

It's like you have been knowing this being for many years.

It's so familiar and you feel so at ease.

And before you know,

You're surrounded by hundreds of dolphins and they're all looking at you.

And they feel like your family.

You feel at ease.

And they look happy and they also feel safe with you and they want to play.

And then two other dolphins swim next to you.

They come very close and you can hold their fins.

One with your left hand and one with your right hand and they move you into the sea.

And they circle with you.

They play with you.

They make noises.

They are having fun.

They jump around.

They show you all their tricks and you are having the time of your life.

You are so happy.

And on the beach,

You see people staring at you,

Kids,

Parents,

Your own grandmother who is with you.

They're all looking at you.

They are not believing what they are seeing.

That you are part of this group of dolphins,

That they accept you,

That you can play with them,

That they welcome you.

You go underwater and they bring you above the water,

They help you jump,

Saltos.

It's beautiful and you are having so much fun.

But deep down you have this feeling,

I know this,

They are my brothers and sisters.

It feels so familiar.

And the first dolphin who looked into your eyes at the beginning watches out for you.

This dolphin stays close to you and protects you.

And you feel this connection,

This bond with this dolphin and you ask yourself who is this?

And this is a dolphin you have been knowing for many years,

Maybe thousands of years,

Many lives.

Somebody who you can trust,

Who protects you,

Who makes you feel safe,

Like you're meeting an old friend.

And this is really one of the best days in your life.

You're having so much fun and you're doing tricks you didn't even know you were able to do them,

To pull these things off.

But at some point you're starting to get a little tired from all the playing and all the noise.

But this feeling inside,

This happiness,

This kind of energy,

Your feeling of being loved by so many animals,

So many special souls,

This you will treasure forever in your heart.

And then the group of dolphins bring you back towards the shore.

And slowly they say goodbye,

One by one.

But this special dolphin who came to you at the beginning is still with you.

It's swimming around you and looking in your eyes and giving you hugs.

And it's saying like,

Just remember me.

If you are in trouble,

If you're in pain,

Just think of me.

I am always there with you.

People cannot see me,

But you know I'm there.

I'm your helper,

I'm your guide.

Just remember that.

And you don't know how you are communicating,

But you just know.

You know you can,

You have this special gift to communicate with animals.

For you this is simple,

This is normal.

Something you were born with and you enjoy it.

And now it's time to say goodbye.

So you give the dolphin one more big hug.

You look one more time deeply in the eyes and from your heart you are saying thank you.

Thank you for showing me this water world.

Thank you for inviting me to play with your friends.

Thank you for the great afternoon we spent together.

And then slowly,

Slowly the dolphin swims away.

It makes a few jumps,

Now and then it looks back if you're still there and you keep standing in the water until you don't see any dolphin anymore.

And then you turn around and you see your grandmother with a big smile.

And she opens her arms and you run towards her and you get a big hug.

And you look into her eyes and she knows,

She understands,

You don't need to explain.

And together you walk back to the house.

And together you eat dinner and you have a really cozy time together.

Because your grandmother is also very dear to you.

And you do tell her about all the amazing things you learned and you saw in the sea.

And it makes you so happy.

And then later at night when you're lying in your bed and you close your eyes,

All you need to do is bring back this memory of this dolphin looking right into your eyes.

And that you can feel this special being next to you,

Right now even.

This is your guide,

Your protector.

So whenever you are in need,

Whenever you need help,

Whenever you face a problem or whenever you are scared,

Just know that this dolphin is with you,

Protecting you.

And that you're not alone.

And after that you fall asleep.

Into a deep sleep and you dream one more time about all the beautiful things that happened during the day.

Good night and sleep tight.

Namaste.
