
Gratefulness Meditation, A Perfect Meditation To Fall Asleep
This is an interesting meditation about gratefulness. It may seem strange to feel grateful during difficult times, but I will explain why this is very important and even necessary to make the change we all so need. This is also a recording of a LIVE session on Insight Timer and many people have written to me afterward that they were in a very deep sleep and woke up the next day. So it is also a perfect meditation to do if you are facing sleep issues as well.

We always start with taking a few deep breaths,
So breath in through your nose and breath out through your mouth.
One more time,
Breath in through your nose and breath out through your mouth.
And then see if you can connect with the universe all around you and just visualize to take in positive energy and take this in through your crown chakra on the top of your head.
So visualize that you are taking in this positive energy from all around you.
Breathe in deeply and breath out again.
And one more time,
Breath in,
Take it all in and breath out again.
And then go back towards your crown chakra,
Visualize this beautiful white lotus flower on the top of your head which is slowly opening for this beautiful positive energy.
So all you need to do is visualize this.
Then also go with your attention towards your forehead,
Relax all the muscles there and see if you can visualize a beautiful purple flower at the location of your third eye.
And also relax your eyebrows,
Relax your eyes and also the small muscles around your eyes.
And then try to focus on your third eye on the location.
Just observe if you can feel something.
Then bring your attention inside your head so a straight line right from your third eye to the center of your head.
So inside your brain,
Try to observe your head from the inside and just follow my words.
If you think you cannot do it,
Stop all these thoughts,
You are doing just fine.
Just go with the flow.
You cannot do it wrong.
And then you bring your attention from the center of your brain in a straight line down towards your throat chakra and you can visualize a beautiful blue flower on your throat chakra.
And then you go even lower towards your heart center and just visualize a beautiful green meadow or a green garden or a forest or a jungle at the location of your heart.
And now we sort of activated the upper chakras of your body and what you can do now is one more time take a deep breath in and then visualize again that you are taking in positive energy from the universe around you.
So in through your crown chakra through the lotus flower then towards your third eye,
Breathe on towards your throat chakra and you end the breath at your heart center.
So you make this whole line through your body and when you breathe out you let go of all the negative energy,
Stress,
Your worries,
Energy from other people which you have been carrying just let go.
You can breathe out through your mouth if you like or breathe out through your nose.
So again breathe in make the connection and breathe out and let go again.
One more time breathe in the positive energy and breathe out.
One more time breathe in and breathe out again.
Now bring your awareness towards your heart center.
Breathe through your heart.
Maybe focus on your heart center and open your heart a little bit more.
And then while you are sitting like this very quietly or lying down very relaxed focus again on your auric field so the energy field around your body.
Just try to focus really well and then please invite your own spirit guides or spirit guides and if this is new to you all you have to do is relax and say to yourself I would like or actually you speak towards your spirit guides you say will you my spirit guide or spirit guides join me during this session and protect me guide me today.
So just please say this in your own words you can also say it in your own language and then very carefully observe your auric fields observe closely with your intuition and then just see what will happen.
So I will also invite my own spirit guides I will do it quietly and you can do it at the same time.
And your spirit guides or guides can communicate in many different ways with you it is different for everybody so just very carefully observe what you have felt it can be anything.
It can be a voice it can be a feeling it can be a certain sense of energy like a vibration a pulsation it can be anything.
And then we are going to invite the archangels for an even more nice experience and protection.
So what you can do is turn your attention towards the east side of your body and from the east side we will invite archangel Raphael he is the guardian of the element air and you can invite him by thinking of the sign of the pharmacies the caduceus so just think of this sign this symbol and this is how you call this angel into our fields and he will provide emerald green energy towards our horizontal plane from the east side of our bodies.
You don't have to think of it as an angel it is just a very strong entity and again you might feel this like a change in your auric fields and then we turn towards the south and we invite archangel Michael he is the guardian of the element fire the sun and he carries a sword and just visualize this sword and Michael will give us a blessing on all sides of our body our bodies a kind of blessing protection also and maybe you can also visualize this in your own way and he brings blue energy towards our horizontal fields and then we move towards the west and we invite archangel Gabriel the guardian of the element water and he carries a silver chalice it is a kind of beautiful silver cup and just think of this symbol this image and from this cup he provides us with diamond white energy and this comes from the west side of our body and it protects us from the west side so just observe again your auric field and see what happens and then we turn towards the north and we invite archangel Uriel the guardian of the element earth and he carries a five-pointed star with him just think of this star with five points and he provides ruby red energy towards our horizontal plane so from the horizontal level around us we are covered with all these energies of protection and these archangels always have our best interest at heart and they're here to guide us on our paths our individual journeys so whatever is needed for you today during this meditation they will support you in receiving that then we also will call archangel metatron from above you can place your hands up if you like and we invite archangel metatron and this is also the place of our ancestors of the great spirit so you can invite those elements your ancestors as well if you like just call them maybe also call for their wisdom their experience which we may need now in our lives at this moment but also metatron he carries or he provides a kind of geometric figure a kind of energy and that's if we call him it slowly will come down also a special kind of energy and it will first enter our crown chakra and then our third eye and it slowly slowly comes down towards our throat chakra and it resides it ends in our heart chakra and maybe you can feel it it's kind of protection from above and then we also will connect with mother earth so you can bring your hands down to pacha mama and we call upon archangel sandalfun and we ask for the beautiful very strong and wise energy of mother earth through the crystal lines and this energy will come up through the souls the chakras of your feet and it will go up your legs towards your root chakra the sacral chakra the solar plexus in your stomach and it also ends in our heart center and now i feel it so strongly i hope you as well or at least if maybe you feel just a little bit that's already enough and all these energies come together in our heart and maybe you can feel like you're entering a different dimension it's like something is being lifted or being opened for us and then keep your attention in your heart center breathe through your heart and perhaps you want to bring your hands together your palms together in front of your heart but you can also visualize this that you're doing this and now just visualize yourself sitting or lying down in your own safe space and open your heart a little bit more you can just set this intention to open your heart a little bit more and perhaps you can just visualize to connect with everybody else who is now meditating and just for me by thinking of this i can already feel it i'm sending some love from my heart to all of you and at the same time i can just feel it coming back and this sort of creating an even stronger web of love between all of us and then you may really relax your body maybe sink a little bit more in the floor wherever you are at the moment and go a little bit more deeper and deeper and deeper really relax sink into your heart deeper and deeper down closer to your own being closer to your soul so deeper and deeper and then with your palms together from the bottom of your heart if i ask you now what are you grateful for in this moment observe what is arising from your heart and i hope you can prevent your mind from interfering just feel really deeply what is appearing from your heart at this moment and observe if you can say it within yourself what it is you are grateful for and at the same time maybe your mind did want to interfere and also observe why it wanted to interfere and if it didn't interfere that's of course very good but if it did interfere what did your mind say to you was it like how can you be grateful in this difficult time what is happening in the world right now or how can you be grateful at this moment because there's so many other things which require our attention or maybe you find difficult to be grateful because of fear you are feeling or any kind of worry but let me start by saying you can already lower your hands if you prefer to do that to relax your hands again let me start by saying that it is maybe also known to you that being grateful is something very good and positive to do every day in order to change your whole mindset and become more positive and this is also scientifically proven but there is something else which is really really very important and which is so important also in this time especially what is happening now in the world and that is the energy the vibration which you now are radiating of being grateful is a very different kind of energy than if you are worried or if you are facing fear because this is a positive kind of vibration being grateful really changes how you act how you feel what you radiate from your heart how other people sense you and by feeling grateful by expressing this by living it it also activates the self-healing modus in your own body and this is something so very important also for yourself but also for the world right now because the world will only change if more people at some point will make the shift from this materialistic thinking this ego thinking this hurting of our planets if we make the switch the transition i really want you to understand that it's so very important even though you might feel guilty or or if you feel fear that it doesn't help the world it doesn't make the world a better place but if you feel positive if you express this and if this happens for many people from within then together we can make a change a transition then we can make it happen it's not always so easy to suddenly feel positive but if you start from being grateful to really truly being grateful this is the positive energy from your heart and this is how you can influence positively other people just by your vibration your energy level so now go back to your heart and one more time feel the reason for which you are grateful today during this session and it can be something very big it can be something very small and it is all okay because it is coming from your heart it is from your soul and you are grateful for that so we cannot judge but now really focus on the energy of these words so maybe you want to repeat them again and focus on this inner fire which is sort of connected with it with these words actually the kind of vibration from these words what is happening in your body within all your cells observe if you can feel this and if this helps you can see it as a little flame within your heart and now just visualize that you're enhancing the fire making the fire bigger so actually you are expanding this positive vibration from your heart in your body within all your cells and you're eliminating all the cells with fear and worry and guilt feel how this fire is becoming stronger in your body and how it's manifesting in your body this is how gratefulness feels so the fire is becoming bigger and stronger your whole body is fueled by it at the moment and it's even going outside of your physical body you're really radiating this fire of gratefulness and maybe you can feel it sense it maybe you feel warm you are allowed to feel this positive vibration and if many people in the world would spread this love this positive vibration it is addictive it's like we're spreading the love so again now if you open your hands again and from your heart you send again through your left arm and the chakra from your left hand send some of this gratefulness energy this fire to all the people who are meditating right now but also beyond this let's together send some of all this beautiful grateful energy around the globe and at the same time maybe you feel it in your right hand we are receiving again each other's beautiful energy but let's make this an even more important task an even more powerful one by sending some of our love our positive energy our gratefulness to the entire world and the cool thing is if you're meditating with people from all over the world we can reach this we can actually make this happen and we're all energetic beings although many people don't believe this or don't think like this but we are and we have so much more power than we believe we have it's just a matter of really believing in ourselves that we have the power to make such changes and we really can and you might even want to send some of this love to particular persons who you think who really need this this extra support guidance positive energy love and feel again the flow of energy in your body the beauty of it and this is what you're doing by yourself this is how powerful it can be we are like magicians we have just lost this capability or believe in ourselves that we can do all such kind of things but if you start to believe that you can really make a difference it will happen so just feel the energy it's a very strong energy I think maybe you can also feel it I hope so just feel what the energy of everybody else what it is doing to you maybe you feel it's like a kind of healing because everybody has to give something in this world we are all interconnected so if you feel some pain somewhere just send this flow of energy towards that area in your body and we are creating again a kind of web of light around the world and maybe you have a different visualization or vision and it's all fine you're just here doing what you can so every time from now on when you feel fear or worry just think of this meditation and the power of it mindfulness is all about every time letting go of the negative thoughts trying it again training yourself that you are better that you're stronger than your mind that you can really do it go beyond your own limitations of the mind it's all about believing in yourself that you can make a difference that you have the power to do so and only together we can make this big change in the world but we need to enlighten many more people many more souls have to become aware that we should not be divided that we misuse our power that we can look ourselves in the eyes there is abundance in this world for everyone and just feel our beautiful connection and for those who didn't believe it may be in the beginning of this meditation but have felt a lot during the meditation you can see how even though if you're living right now or sitting on the other side of the world that we can still connect with each other and have this yeah this energy exchange this proves that we have power of our thoughts of our energies of our intentions and that we maybe or not maybe we change the world a little bit during this session just by being grateful and being close to yourself feeling happy just the way you are right now despite what's happening in your family and happening in the world it is okay to follow this line to follow this flow because this is much more powerful than doing the opposite and of course it takes some time to really comprehend this to embody this but maybe this meditation has helped you in order to do so so all your cells feel them feel the vibration of love within your body feel the energy and just observe what's yeah what is going on in your body just enjoy the energy now so and the other energy is still very strong but probably slowly it will become a little bit less strong just see what it does for you today just feels very good to sit here with all of you and enjoy this moment so so just take your time so i would really like to thank all of you for your love for making this beautiful connection with everybody from all over the world and if it feels better for you you can sort of withdraw your energy lines or your the cord from your heart from your hands and take it again a little bit in i know for some people it doesn't stop and if you want to protect yourself just visualize you're taking it all back to your own auric field to close yourself a little bit again you can also feel this and then we're also going to say thanks to all the
