Transcript

Welcome dear,

You begin by coming home,

Not to who you think you should be,

But to the truth of your body,

Exactly as she is.

You don't have to earn this,

You don't have to fix anything,

Your body is already a temple,

So this is your return.

Find a comfortable seat or you can also lie down,

And then place one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly,

Let's take a few slow nourishing breaths together,

Inhale through your nose,

Hold for a moment,

And exhale through your mouth with a gentle sigh.

One more time,

Inhale through your nose,

Hold,

And exhale through your mouth.

Last time,

Inhale through your nose,

Hold,

And exhale through your mouth,

And then return to your normal breathing,

Feel your body,

Feel how your breath is moving your body,

And then let go of the tension,

Not because you have to,

But as an invitation into softness.

Let your jaw soften,

Let your shoulders drop,

Let your belly relax,

And let your hips become heavy and rooted,

You are here now,

And this is safe.

Now begin to bring your awareness gently to each part of your body,

There is nothing to change,

Just be with yourself,

Become aware,

Feel your feet,

And thank them for carrying you wherever you want to go,

Feel your legs and thighs,

And thank them for holding you up,

Feel your hips,

Your seat of power and sensuality,

Feel your belly,

However it feels,

This is your center of life,

Feel your chest,

Your beating heart,

Your breath,

Feel your throat,

Gateway to your truth,

Feel your beautiful face,

Let it soften,

Release all of the holding,

And now,

Silently or out loud,

Speak to yourself,

My body is my sacred home,

Every single part of me is worthy of love,

And I forgive myself for the times I forgot this,

I really don't need to be perfect to be beautiful,

And I choose softness over shame,

I choose presence over performance,

I belong here,

Take a deep breath in,

And let these words land,

Gently return to your present moment,

And now,

I invite you today to continue the ritual,

You can do it right now,

And I suggest that you do it because you're already here,

And I invite you to dance with yourself,

Put on your favorite song,

One that moves you,

Put it on really loud,

Don't care about anybody around you,

Or you can also just put in headphones,

That's fine,

And then just feel the music,

Feel the emotions,

And let your body lead,

Don't worry about looking good or doing it right,

This is not a performance,

This is a play,

It is freedom,

It is home,

Let your hips move,

Let your arms flow,

And let whatever emotion wants to move,

Move through you,

There might be joy,

Tenderness,

Maybe grief,

Maybe pleasure,

And all of this is welcome,

All of it belongs to you,

Let this be a celebration of your body's aliveness,

You don't need a reason,

You're allowed to feel good just because you're alive,

Your body is listening,

And today,

She heard love.
