5-Minute Yoga Nidra For Deep Rest
What if rest isn't the absence of awareness... but a different kind of awareness? This gentle 5-minute Yoga Nidra practice invites you into a state of deep relaxation through body awareness, breath awareness, and intention setting. Often described as "yogic sleep," Yoga Nidra allows the body to rest deeply while the mind remains softly aware. Lie down comfortably, close your eyes, and simply follow the guidance. As you do, you may notice tension melting away, your thoughts becoming quieter, and a sense of calm ease beginning to emerge. Please note: as this practice induces deep relaxation, it is best not to listen while driving. Use this for stress relief, a midday reset, before sleep, after meditation, or anytime you need a few minutes of restorative rest. Practice regularly to help your body access deep relaxation more easily and carry a greater sense of calm into everyday life. Indian music by Bipul Kumar from Pixabay
