Welcome to this guided meditation.

My name is Angela and this is a dreamland journey,

A sleep meditation just for kids.

Hello my friend,

It's time to get cozy and comfy in your bed.

Snuggle under your blankets and take a deep breath in like you're smelling a beautiful flower and now slowly breathe out like you're blowing out candles.

Let's do that again.

Breathe in smelling an imaginary flower and breathe out blowing out imaginary candles.

Now gently close your eyes and know that you are safe,

You are loved and you are ready to relax.

Feel your blanket covering you like a cozy hug.

Your blanket is here to help you feel calm and ready for a magical journey into dreamland.

The day is over and now it's your time to rest and get cozy.

Let go of anything that was bothering you before and let yourself just relax.

There's no need to do anything right now except listen and feel your body becoming sleepier and cozier.

As you listen to my voice,

Imagine each word helping you get more and more relaxed.

Your body is getting heavier and your mind is getting light,

Floating like a fluffy cloud.

You are exactly where you need to be,

Safe and sound.

Let's start by helping your whole body relax.

Think about your toes and wiggle them a little bit.

Now let them be still and stop moving and just think about your toes being completely relaxed.

Now think about your legs and feel them warm and relaxed kind of like they're floating in a gentle warm pool.

Let yourself be comfortable and anything uncomfortable can just melt away like a snowflake in the sun.

Your legs feel light and soft and completely relaxed.

Now think about your tummy.

It feels warm and happy and it moves a little bit every time you take a breath.

It's like a little balloon slowly getting bigger and smaller every time you take a breath.

You don't need to hold your breath,

You could just let go and relax and let your body breathe.

Notice how calm and relaxed your belly feels.

Now think about your arms and your hands and how they're starting to feel soft and sleepy.

Imagine your arms and hands sinking into a fluffy cloud.

Your fingers are loose and they just let go of everything you did today.

Drawing and coloring and writing and hugging your friends and you're just starting to feel your arms and your hands cozy and warm.

The only thing left in your arms and hands is softness and relaxation.

Now think about your shoulders and let go of anything in your shoulders that feels uncomfortable.

Maybe you can wiggle them around a little bit and now just stay still and just notice your shoulders being light and free as if a gentle breeze of air is carrying away anything that's heavy,

Anything that's uncomfortable.

No more holding on to it,

No more tightness,

Just comfy and relaxed shoulders.

Now think about your neck and your head feeling calm just like they're resting on a fluffy pillow made of clouds.

Now think about your face being very calm with your eyes closed and your eyelids relaxed and your mouth is soft like a gentle smile.

And your forehead is very relaxed,

Soft as a feather and completely calm.

And your jaw and your mouth not holding anything at all.

Now think of your whole body very still and quiet and relaxing just the way it should be at bedtime.

Your whole body is now relaxed,

Feeling comfy and cozy and you're ready for a special dreamland adventure.

Now imagine you're standing in a beautiful place filled with the softest,

Greenest,

Prettiest grass.

You look up at the sky above you.

There's a gentle twilight blue with twinkling stars that begin to appear.

A warm golden path glows beneath your feet and it invites you to follow it.

A soft,

Cool breeze kisses your cheeks carrying the sweet scent of flowers and fresh rain.

Fireflies dance in the air,

Glowing softly like tiny lanterns leading the way to something so magical.

As you walk,

You hear the gentle sound of water trickling nearby.

It sparkles like tiny diamonds under the moonlight and they whisper soft,

Happy sounds as the water flows.

You walk over and you dip your fingers into the water and it feels cool and comfortable.

And you notice that it lets you feel so much more calm throughout your whole body.

And then you hear the sound of crickets singing a gentle lullaby in the distance.

And that sound is almost like music blending perfectly with the soft hush of the wind in the trees.

Every step you take on this golden path brings you deeper and deeper into calmness and dreamland.

And far off in the distance,

You see a magnificent tree glowing with soft golden light.

This is the dream tree.

It holds all the sweetest dreams waiting just for you.

Its branches stretch high into the sky and its leaves shimmer like tiny twinkling stars.

You feel pulled to it knowing that it has something special just for you.

You reach out and touch one of the glowing leaves and it gently falls into your hands.

As you hold it close to you,

You feel so warm and safe and ready to drift into peaceful sleep.

A gentle whisper floats in the air as if the dream tree is speaking to you.

It tells you that you are safe and you are loved and that your dreams will be so sweet and filled with wonder.

The leaf glows brighter for a moment,

Filling you with warmth before gently falling into your heart.

Now the dream tree whispers a special message just for you.

Remember,

You are loved,

You are safe,

You are ready to dream.

It's going to be magical.

The words wrap around you like a soft warm blanket tucking you in for the night.

The stars above twinkle just for you,

Watching over you,

Making sure you're okay as you drift into sleep.

The golden path begins to fade,

Leaving you floating gently in your peaceful dreams.

Now take another deep breath in,

Breathing in the imaginary flowers and slowly breathing out,

Blowing out the imaginary candles.

Your body is so relaxed,

Your heart is so happy,

Your mind is so calm,

And your dreams are so magical and waiting for you.

You are tucked in warm and cozy like a little twinkling star glowing and resting in the night sky.

Every breath you take guides you deeper and deeper into sleep,

Into a world of dreamland filled with kindness,

Warmth,

Happiness,

And love.

The moon smiles at you,

Keeping you safe all throughout the night when your eyes are closed.

There's nothing you need to do,

Nothing you need to think about,

Just let go and relax,

Just sleep and rest.

Your journey through dreamland will continue all night long,

Bringing you happiness and peaceful fun adventures at nighttime.

When you wake up in the morning,

You'll feel so refreshed and ready for a beautiful new day.

Goodnight little dreamer,

Sleep well.
