Good morning.
You may be at the beginning of your morning or in the middle of it.
Whatever has already happened or going to happen,
Put those aside and allow me the permission to have your full attention for the next few minutes.
Just like we brush our teeth or shower to clean our body each morning,
Now it's time to cleanse our mind.
Sit up and imagine there are a few balloons tied to the top of your spine,
Eager to float upwards to the sky.
Allow the balloons to pull up your spine,
Making it straight.
You may feel a lightness as the balloons support your body and mind.
Roll your shoulders back and get comfortable.
Make any adjustments you need.
Close your eyes and let your eyelids delicately rest.
Lay your hands on your lap.
Palm at boots.
Take a deep inhale.
Pause for one beat,
Then slowly exhale.
Focus on the end of your exhale,
The point where it ends.
Then take your next inhale,
Pause at the top.
Then slowly exhale,
Focusing on that moment it ends.
Do this for a few more times at your own pace.
Give yourself permission to relax.
Your breath is the gift of life.
It makes you live and also has the power to calm the mind and relax the body.
Use it when you need to.
Go back to your normal breathing pattern and embrace the stillness that has awoken within you.
And in this presence,
Set an intention for the day.
It could be,
May I have a productive day at work,
Or I will be patient with my kids,
Husband,
Or wife today.
Or the power of healing.
Today,
My illness or injury will continue to get better.
Whatever it is,
Say it in your mind.
Now,
Let go of those words.
Let them float away.
If you find yourself in thought,
That's okay.
When you become aware of them,
Acknowledge them and let them be.
No need to comment.
Remember those balloons you have attached to the top of your spine?
Put your thoughts in one of those balloons.
Let go of that balloon and let it float away.
There is no need to say anything.
Let the balloon and the thoughts be as they drift into the universe.
Take a deep breath in and tune into this moment.
Say good morning to yourself,
Out loud or in silence.
Say good morning to the world.
Take another deep breath and as you inhale,
Feel the peace that exists all around you.
As you exhale,
Feel the relaxation through your body and mind.
Anytime you find yourself thinking,
That's okay.
No need to judge.
In the present,
There are no judges.
Take a deep breath and as you inhale,

Take a balloon and put your thoughts in that balloon and let it go.
Take another deep inhale and as you exhale,
Feel revitalised,
Re-energised.
It is as if you have had a mindful cup of coffee which awakens your inner self.
Feel the energy,
The calmness flowing within you,
Through you.
Know that there are millions of other people right now having their own mindful cup of coffee along with you.
Feel their presence.
Spread your love to other people meditating right now.
Mindfully say good morning to them.
Wish them a good day.
Open your arms out and receive love back from them as well.
Enjoy it and know that the love is always there within you and around you.
Come back to your intention and repeat it to yourself again.
Finally,
Wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a warm hug on my behalf.
Open your eyes and start your day.
