Good morning.

You may be at the beginning of your day or in the middle of your morning.

Whatever has happened or whatever is going to happen,

Put those aside.

Allow me the permission to have your full attention for the next few minutes.

Just like we brush our teeth or shower our body,

Now it's time to cleanse our mind.

Sit up and imagine there are a bunch of balloons floating above you.

These balloons are tied together with a piece of string.

This string is tied to the crown of your head.

As the balloons start to rise up into the air,

Allow them to gently pull you upwards and feel your spine lengthening.

As the balloons support adjustments you need,

Close your eyes,

Gently allowing your eyelids to touch.

Take a deep breath in for a beat.

Exhale slowly.

Focus on the end of your exhale,

To where it ends.

Take another inhale.

Pause at the top.

Exhale slowly.

Focus on the moment it ends.

Do this a few more times at your own pace.

Give yourself permission to relax.

It is the gift of life.

It makes you live and also has the power to calm the mind,

Relax the body.

Use it when you're breathing pattern.

Embrace the stillness that has awoken in you.

And in this presence,

Set an intention for today.

Productive day at work.

Patient with my kids,

Wife or husband today.

Of healing.

Today,

My illness or injury will continue to get better.

Whatever it is,

Say it in your mind and let those words go.

Float away.

If you find yourself in thoughts,

That's okay.

Acknowledge them.

Those balloons that are attached to you,

Put your thoughts inside of one of those balloons.

They float away.

To say anything,

Thoughts be,

As they drift into the universe.

Take a deep breath in and tune into this moment.

Say good morning to yourself,

Out loud or in silence.

Say it to the world.

Breath in and as you inhale,

The peace that exists all around you.

You exhale relaxation through your body and mind.

Anytime you find yourself thinking,

That's okay.

There's no need to judge.

Present,

There are no judges.

Put your thoughts into that belay.

Take another deep breath and feel revitalized,

Energized.

It is as if you had a mindful cup of coffee which awakens your inner self.

Feel the energy and the calmness flow within you and through you.

Also having that mindful cup of coffee along with you.

Feel their presence.

Feel the love within and spread your love to them.

Say good morning.

Receive it and know that love is always within you and around you.

Repeat it to yourself again.

Finally,

Wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a big hug.

Release your hug.

Open your eyes and you're ready to start your day.

Thanks for practicing with me and I'll see you tomorrow morning.

Setting intentions in the center of the meditation is a great way of getting them in focus. Wonderful meditation for first thing in the morning.
