Welcome to this meditation for sleep.
Lie in your bed and get yourself in a comfortable position.
Gently close your eyes.
Let's start with a few deep breaths.
Take a deep breath in,
And a deep breath out.
Take another deep breath in,
Feel your body get heavier and more relaxed,
And a deep breath out.
Another deep breath in,
And deep breath out.
Continue breathing at your own pace and allow your body to go deeper and deeper,
Feeling more peaceful and relaxed.
Letting go of any tension or tightness.
Enjoy this peace and bliss.
Sleep is the time to re-energize the mind and body.
If you catch yourself thinking,
Observe those thoughts and feelings and let them pass.
There is no need to commit to them.
Now is the time to rest.
Rest the mind,
Rest the body,
Rest the spirit.
Slowly scan your body for any tension and allow your blissful state to melt it away.
Starting with your eyes,
Jaw,
Neck,
Shoulders,
Arms,
Hands,
Chest,
Belly,
Legs,
Feet.
Feel the comfort of your pillow,
Cushioning your head and massaging your mind,
Clearing it of any thoughts or feelings.
As you hear the music sink deeper and deeper,
Allow it to soothe you,
Comfort you into blissful sleep.
