Jackdaw (Live Song)
by Andy Hobson
Here's a live version of a song I wrote about the sway of life's moments of awe and falls from grace. I hope this speaks to anyone that need it. With love, Andy Lyrics: Floating in high winds, looking for adventure. Heavy with sunlight, tonight. Feeling the moment, made it with a hustle. Waiting out the heatwave, hoping that it won’t be long. Twisting round corners, seeking out sapphires. Painted in moonlight, tonight. Seeing dull colors, caught up in a crossfire. Rattled to the runway, only to be left behind. Something's coming, I don’t know where I am hiding. Like the freak wave that sank, ever after like the songbird humming. I can’t find that feeling, I know. I took the Jackdaw hero out of the rain, and sewed his soul to mine. And now I won’t back down, whatever I do I won that medal by myself. I turned my flight to a river, washed over the wound, and soared up to the raven. And now we guard, when the battles roll over the moon, a sound that we suffer by ourselves
