Hello and welcome to the shamanic full moon wolf meditation here on Insight Timer.

Within this guided meditation,

You will connect with the energy of the full moon as well as the spirit animal of the wolf as you connect and embrace the full moon in Cancer for January 2022.

Before we get started,

Let me share with you the shamanic meaning of the wolf moon.

The wolf moon this year falls in the sign of Cancer,

Which calls you to connect and embody the emotions within you.

As with all of the full moons,

They illuminate aspects within yourself that may have been hidden for many years.

So as you connect with this moon,

Allow yourself to feel into your emotions as you begin to awaken from within.

And let me share with you an excerpt from Jamie Sam's book,

The 13 Original Clan Mothers,

Which relates to the 13 cycles of the moon phases throughout the year.

The first moon cycle is entitled,

Talk with Relations and is the keeper of learning the truth.

This cycle of truth falls in January and is understood through finding kinship with all life.

Talk with Relations.

Teachers are the allies of nature,

The four winds of change,

The cloud people,

The thunder beings,

The creature beings,

And the tree people,

The plant people,

The little people,

The stone people,

The clan chief of air,

Earth,

Water,

And fire,

As well as all other forms of life.

The relations of our planetary family are our teachers as well.

And here is also a short poem.

Mother of nature talks with her kin.

Stone person,

Wildflower,

And wolf are her friend.

Weaving the rhythms of the seasons,

She rides the winds of change,

Opening her heart with gladness,

A shelter from hunger and pain.

Guardian of the needs of the earth,

Making relatives with great and small.

Mother,

I see you in the dewdrop.

I hear you in the eagle's call.

This has been Jamie Sam's interpretation of the first cycle of the full moon in January.

And it definitely resonates deeply with me.

Though I also wanted to share with you the meaning of the spirit animal of the wolf,

As it is also a wolf moon.

So the spirit animal of the wolf is very much connected with the family of the dog,

Which calls you to connect with your soul family and those at which you resonate with at a deeper level.

Those who provide you with unconditional love and support on your journey.

Though also in many ways cause you to follow your own divine mission and purpose in life as you break away from the wolf pack.

And now let me share with you what I've written for my soul pathway oracle cards.

With regards to the spirit animal of the wolf.

Now the spirit animal of the wolf awakens your world spirits and brings freedom to your soul.

Wolves guide you to follow your instincts as you embrace your unique soul purpose.

Wolves are much like dogs in the way that they have deep connections with their soul family.

However wolves also like to break away from the pack.

As you are connecting with this full moon,

Take this time to honour your divine mission.

Allow yourself to become a teacher as you pass on your lessons to support others.

Trust your intuition to guide you though.

And always remember to lean on your tribe when you require assistance.

Let me now share with you a guided meditation to assist you with connecting and embodying the wolf moon.

Find a place where you can sit down or lay down and relax.

Relax in your mind,

Your body and even your spirit so that you can truly let go and be at ease during this meditation.

And I want you to start off by focusing on your breathing because as we start to intentionally breathe we can start to get in tune with our bodies.

So we can take a deep breath in through our nose and out through our mouth.

In through our nose and out through our mouth.

Allow yourself to release and let go.

What I would love for you to do is find a spot on the ceiling or on the wall and allow yourself to get comfortable.

As you focus on that spot on the wall or on the ceiling allow your awareness to expand around you.

As you allow your awareness to expand around you take that deep breath in through your nose again once more.

And out through your mouth.

In through your nose.

And out through your mouth.

And just release and let go.

And allow your eyes to close now.

That's right.

Still focusing on your breathing.

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

You can be much more relaxed and much more at ease as you start to become much more present in this moment,

In this experience.

Now we've relaxed your mind somewhat.

We need to relax your body starting with the top of your head and relaxing all the way down,

Deeper down now,

All the way to the tips of your toes.

Allowing you to absorb into this beautiful tranquil feeling that flows all over your body.

Relax the top of your head.

Bring that relaxation down now.

Deeper down now through to your eyes,

Relaxing your eyes.

Softening the muscles in your cheeks now.

Moving that relaxation down through to your chin,

Around your neck.

Bringing your neck to just soak into the pillow.

Or even the seat which you're sat in.

Relaxing allows you to be more comfortable and more at ease.

As you bring that relaxation further down now,

Deeper down now to your shoulders,

Relaxing your shoulders around your torso now.

Bringing that relaxation down through to your stomach,

Deeper down.

Any sensations around your stomach can disappear.

Allow yourself to feel numb around that area and just have peace.

Any thoughts and feelings that come to mind allow them to drift in and let them go all at the same time.

Allowing you to be truly present,

Truly at ease and at one with yourself and with love.

Bringing that sensation deeper down now,

Down now all the way down through to your legs,

The top of your legs,

Your waist.

Down deeper down through to your knees.

Bringing that relaxation down,

Deeper down now to the tips of your toes.

Allow yourself to continue focusing on your breathing now.

Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

As this will allow you to become much more present in this experience that I've mentioned earlier.

Feeling very tranquil now and at ease.

Ah,

What a beautiful feeling it is,

Isn't it?

As you've relaxed all of your body,

You now may start to notice an aura that surrounds your body.

This aura that surrounds your body allows you to bathe in this relaxation.

Sort of like a cocoon that you find yourself in.

Like an egg that is yet to be born or in many ways to be reborn on your spiritual journey.

And as we go about this meditation,

You'll start to notice that your egg will hatch and you'll step into this new and beautiful self at which you're awaiting to step into.

As your spiritual journey and life unfolds for you in 2020 and the year ahead.

But allow that aura to just allow you to keep yourself in this beautiful cocoon at the moment.

Relaxed and at ease,

Safe and comfortable.

Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth,

You may even want to bring a colour to your aura.

Maybe the colour purple,

Dark deep purple,

Maybe the colour blue or even yellow.

Whatever colour that shows up for you and you feel guided to that helps you relax much much more easily,

Will be just right for you.

Allow yourself to connect to it and feel that comfort in doing so.

Now,

I'm going to be guiding you on this journey to disconnect from your mind and reconnect with your soul.

Any of those old conditions and patterns of the ego can be dissolved in this moment,

Dissolved in this meditation.

Because as you connect within and you tune into your soul,

You will notice that soul cooling that is found deep within you,

That only you can find by going on your soul journey of finding your true self,

Which is both beautiful and blissful.

So I want you to imagine now walking in a beautiful garden and I'm going to start using the drum and the drum will allow you to connect with your inner heartbeat.

Slowly and steadily walk through this beautiful garden.

Smell the freshness of the plants,

Even the freshness of the air.

Breathe it in through your nose and out through your mouth and just smell the beautiful smells of nature.

Lovely and fresh,

Aren't they?

These smells and the winds allow you to cleanse your soul as the winds allow you to connect with spirit.

As whatever is being guided to you within this meditation will be just right for you as you step into your soul's cooling and you answer that voice that is hidden deep within you.

That's right.

As you walk through this garden,

I want you to slowly walk down the steps and as you walk down each and every step,

You can relax your mind and your body with each and every step that you take.

And you relax as much as you feel comfortable and at ease,

But allow yourself to do so in your own time and in your own space.

That's right.

As you walk down now into the lower parts of the garden,

Allow yourself to collect with the lower worlds to bring you guidance,

To bring you support,

To allow you to feel comfortable and at ease.

That's right.

In the garden you are safe in your own confines,

But in a moment we're going to step out of the garden,

Outside of the gate,

Into this unknown world.

The unknown world is that beautiful calling that you find yourself in though,

Which is stepping outside of fear into the place of the unknown as you embark on this beautiful and incredible adventure.

Allow yourself to open that gate now and as you open that gate,

Feel that rush of excitement go into your soul,

To enliven your spirit in this moment.

It's a beautiful feeling,

Isn't it?

That excitement,

That confidence,

That exhilaration that comes from stepping into that place of the unknown where you've never stepped before.

It may be new territory,

But you know that it is the right path for you.

It's beautiful,

Blissful,

But you know it can be treacherous at times.

So you have to take it at your own pace and tune in to your soul,

Tune in to your body,

Allowing you to relax,

Be much more comfortable and at ease all at the same time.

So now that you've stepped outside of the gates,

You're in the beautiful garden of Mother Earth.

Gaia is calling you now.

Mother Earth is asking you to follow your soul's pathway.

As you slowly walk through Mother Earth,

You can feel the grass on your feet,

Feel the wind in your hair.

You're beginning to feel much,

Much more free and at ease.

The moon and sun is beginning to set upon the day and the moon is beginning to rise.

As the moon rises,

It illuminates the sky.

As it illuminates the sky,

It allows you to connect with that beautiful intuition and nurturing aspect that is within you.

Allow yourself to connect with that inner wisdom.

Feel the feelings deep within your soul.

Whatever emotions come up for you at this time,

Allow them to flow through you and allow yourself to let them go all at the same time too.

The moon can often illuminate things in our lives that we may not want to see,

But these aspects are truly,

Truly beautiful within ourselves.

We may see them to be ugly,

But they're the beautiful aspects that are just waiting to be healed.

As the moon illuminates those aspects within you,

Allow yourself to go within,

Allow yourself to feel and take things steadily.

But just allow yourself to feel those emotions because allowing yourself to feel them is allowing yourself to see the truth that is you,

Which is both beautiful and blissful and it brings about this sense of wholeness.

As we walk further into nature,

You notice this wooded area.

This wooded area is also being illuminated by the moon.

But as you start walking into the woods,

You notice this howling and calling from within.

But these wolfs seem to be howling louder and louder.

It brings this exhilarating feeling into you.

Allow your heartbeat to steady again now,

Slowly,

As you walk into the forest.

It's not pitch black,

It's illuminated by this beautiful moon.

Slowly and steadily walk into the forest.

And as you walk steadily into the forest,

Allow yourself to hear the howling of the wolf again.

You can hear it more and more in the distance,

Almost like this wolf pack.

They're all howling at the same time,

Calling you.

Calling your soul and allowing you to follow your calling.

As you walk further into the deep forest,

You start to feel the sensations of the wolves around you.

But it's not anything to be fearful of,

Because these are a feeling of connecting with your soul family.

They're always there to guide and support you,

To give you that unconditional love.

As you look around you,

You notice the wolves surrounding you as well.

As you also notice them,

They are a part of your family,

As they feel comfortable with you.

You also feel comfortable with them.

You feel a part of the pack as you connect with your soul tribe,

Allowing you to grow,

Evolve and step into that beautiful person that is for you.

You notice there is a wolf howling in the middle of this open area.

And you notice that this wolf is the alpha,

The leader of the pack,

Who guides others,

Who becomes the teacher,

Who follows his or her own soul calling.

Allow yourself to connect with that,

Connect with that wolf.

As you stop there for a moment,

The wolf turns around and the wolf looks you straight in the eyes.

As you look the wolf straight in the eyes,

Your eyes to connect.

The wolf spirit comes into you as you are a part of the wolf and the wolf is a part of you,

Allowing you to connect with your own soul calling.

Then bring out your own soul voice.

Feel the rawness of the wolf inside of you now,

Giving you courage,

Giving you strength to stride into the new year with passion,

With vigour and with this new sense of purpose.

The wolf is teaching you to become the teacher,

The pathfinder and the moon dog of your soul.

Allow yourself to follow your individualistic calling.

For we are all here to follow that which is true and right for us.

For as we serve ourselves,

We also come to serve others.

For this is a rite of passage and the rite of passage is not only for you,

It is then for you to guide and support others on their soul's purpose,

With their soul's mission.

As a healer,

As a therapist,

As a guide,

As a mother,

As a father,

As a wife or a daughter or husband.

We all have a soul calling,

But we are being called to each and every day.

And that purpose lies with you.

All you have to do is allow yourself to connect within and align yourself with your unconscious drivers,

Motivations,

Visions.

Because visions often come to you in moments when you least expect it.

But these visions are guiding you into the life of your dreams.

But not materialistically,

But peacefully.

Just that beautiful sense of joy and peace is what we all want to find within ourselves.

It is my goal and mission to help you find it within you.

So I'm going to stop drumming,

Well stop speaking at the moment.

And I'm going to just allow you to follow the sound of the drum.

And as you follow the sound of the drum,

You just allow whatever guidance and inspiration to come to you.

As if this will allow you to connect with the direction of your visions,

Of your dreams.

So you are just going to Oil Chew in your Aho And in a moment I'm going to bring you out of this beautiful meditation.

And I want for you to bring your goals,

Visions and your dreams to your conscious mind.

And as you bring them to your consciousness you can then write your goals,

Dreams and your visions down.

These can become your roadmap for the future.

You can connect with this meditation as many times as you wish.

And I want for you to connect with your soul's calling.

Hear the howling of the wolf as it's calling you to connect with your own soul's calling and dreams and visions.

So in a moment I'm going to bring you out of this beautiful and peaceful meditation and as you do so I want you to bring all those goals,

Visions and dreams with you.

Come back from the number 10 all the way back through to 1.

Bring all those sensations and feelings back with you.

So 10,

Waking up.

Waking up.

Waking up.

Waking up.

Waking up.

5,

Waking up bringing those visions and dreams with you.

All those feelings and sensations coming back into your body now as well.

Come back into the room as well when you're ready.

Eyes wide awake and back in the room as when you're ready.
