Good morning,

Take this moment to pause,

To land,

To arrive fully in the gift of today.

Gently close your eyes,

You've woken up to a new day,

A fresh beginning,

A chance to begin again.

Allow your body to settle where it is,

Feel the gentle weight of gravity holding you,

Supporting you,

Inviting you to let go of any tension you may be carrying.

Take a slow,

Steady breath in through your nose,

And let it fall softly out through your mouth.

Again,

Breathing in,

Filling up gently,

And breathe out,

Letting go completely.

With each out-breath,

Feel yourself arriving more fully,

Letting go of yesterday,

And all the thoughts about what hasn't happened yet,

This is your moment to start fresh.

Notice the sensations of this new morning,

The temperature of the air on your skin,

The gentle rise and fall of your chest,

The gentle rhythm of your breath moving in and out.

There's nothing to fix right now,

Nothing to chase,

Nothing to solve,

Just this breath,

And then the next.

Now gently bring your awareness to the idea of beginning again,

It doesn't matter what yesterday looked like,

It doesn't matter what's ahead,

Right now you have a clean slate.

Ask yourself softly,

How do I want to show up today?

Not a long list,

Not a grand plan,

Just one simple quality,

One intention,

One thing you'd like to carry into this day.

Perhaps it's patience,

Or calm,

Or focus,

Or maybe it's simply remembering to breathe deeply and often.

Let this intention rise naturally,

Without forcing,

And when it comes,

Take a slow breath in,

As though you're breathing that intention gently into your body.

Feel it settle,

Feel it land within you.

Take a moment now to sense the softness of this reset.

Each breath brings a chance to return,

Each inhalation a beginning,

Each exhalation a release.

And when you're ready,

Slowly bring some gentle movement into the body,

Wiggle your fingers,

Gently roll your shoulders,

And gently now open your eyes,

Allowing the light of the day to meet you.

You're here,

You've begun again,

And that is enough.

I agree with the prior comment. Deceptively simple. For me, starting the day with simplicity makes it easier to get through the day. This meditation is a great way to remind myself of this. Thank you so much.
