So finding a comfortable spot to sit or lie down.

Taking a slightly deeper breath and closing your eyes.

Allowing your eyes to gently close.

In a moment I'm going to ask you to visualise certain things.

Be gentle with yourself.

Remembering to use all your senses.

Picture yourself strolling leisurely through a serene forest.

As you glance down,

You notice a well-trodden path beneath your feet.

Many have walked this path before,

Providing you with a sense of direction and ease.

Moving at a slower pace than usual,

Your body is relaxed while your mind remains aware and alert.

Fully present with the beauty that surrounds you.

You feel safe and secure.

Allowing yourself to relax more with each step that you take.

Pay attention to your breath as it flows naturally.

Becoming attuned to the forest's delightful aromas.

With each stride along the path,

Your breathing deepens and slows.

With every inhalation,

You invigorate and rejuvenate your being.

Exhaling,

You release tension and experience a deep sense of relaxation.

Inhale,

Cleanse.

Exhale,

Relax.

Feeling more and more refreshed.

Maintain your focus on the breath as you continue your walk through the enchanting forest.

The shade of the trees provides a cool and tranquil ambience.

Occasionally giving way to sunny clearings where you soak up the warmth of the sun's rays.

Slow down further in these moments.

Allowing the sun's energy to warm your head and shoulders.

Listen intently to the forest's symphony.

The beautiful songs of the birds.

The gentle caress of a breeze.

And the rustling of leaves as they sway in the soft wind.

With each step,

Your body sinks deeper into relaxation.

You're sinking your breath with your strides.

Counting in your mind.

Inhaling,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Holding your breath,

Two,

Three.

Exhaling,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Inhaling,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Holding,

Two,

Three.

Exhaling,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Continuing this slow and deep breathing.

Allowing yourself to sink into a state of profound relaxation.

Feeling your muscles lengthening and unwinding as your arms swing rhythmically.

Noticing the release of tension in your back as your spine elongates.

Appreciating the soothing sensation that spreads throughout your body.

Leaving you captivated by the scenic wonders that surround you.

Your legs and lower body follow suit.

Embracing a profound sense of freedom and ease.

As you enjoy this forest visualisation,

You come to a gentle incline.

Stepping effortlessly on smooth rocks along the path.

You feel harmoniously connected with nature.

The breeze continues to whisper through the treetops.

But you find solace on the path,

Shielded from its gentle caress.

The atmosphere is calm and serene.

Notice the variety of trees that encircle you.

Some with smooth white bark.

Others with coarse,

Rugged bark with deep grooves.

Noticing the spectrum of colours that cover their surfaces.

White,

Tan,

Brown,

Red and black.

Noticing pine trees with their rough brown bark with that fresh invigorating scent.

Allowing the forest's fragrance to envelop you.

A blend of crisp air,

Earthy soil and the hint of mountain streams.

Let these scents transport you deeper into the immersive experience of the forest visualisation.

As you continue walking,

The sound of running water gradually grows nearer.

You're drawing closer to a babylonian forest.

You're drawing closer to a babbling stream.

Its tranquil melody beckoning you forward.

As you near the mountaintop,

The sound of the stream becomes more distinct.

The path curves ahead,

Bathed in sunlight.

As you round the bend,

The stream unveils itself along with a clearing in the trees.

A breathtaking lookout point.

The weariness from your journey gently washes over you,

Leaving your body feeling pleasantly tired,

Pleasantly heavy.

Imagine yourself walking towards the clearing in the stream.

Crossing the small,

Shallow stream becomes effortless as you gracefully step onto the large,

Flat stones that pave the way.

Ahead of you lies a smooth rock.

It looks like a chair patiently awaiting your arrival.

It cradles you comfortably,

Providing a perfect place to sit and relax.

The sunlight bathing you in its warm glow.

Notice your surroundings.

The beautiful mountains in the distance.

Their colours blending with the sky.

Notice the valley below you,

Embraced by trees and a glistening blue lake.

Another mountain stands across from you,

Adding to the grandeur of the scenery.

The clearing that surrounds you is composed of rocks,

Soil,

Pine needles,

Moss and grass.

Beautiful wildflowers sway gently in the breeze.

From the edge of the forest,

A deer gracefully emerges,

Grazing in the clearing.

It raises its head,

Acknowledging your presence,

Before moving cautiously to the stream for a drink.

With a silent goodbye,

The deer disappears into the embrace of the forest once more.

Squirrels playfully dart in and out of sight,

Bringing a sense of liveliness to the scene.

Feel the sun's warmth soaking into your body as you rest on that comfortable rock.

Immerse yourself in the beautiful view and allow your body to sink deeper into relaxation.

Noticing a deep sense of calmness and peace.

You are united with the nature that surrounds you.

Enjoying the sights,

Sounds and scents of the forest.

The blue sky above you with wispy clouds lazily crossing its expanse,

Changing shape as they do so.

Take some time to appreciate this wonderful,

Relaxing,

Tranquil place.

And when you are ready to return from this serene,

Beautiful place,

Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your body.

Bringing back the feelings of calm,

Peace and relaxation.

Gently wiggling your fingers and toes,

Bringing energy back to your muscles.

Gently stretching the arms and legs,

Waking the body.

And when you are ready,

Bringing peace and serenity back with you,

You can open your eyes and return to the day.
