So,
Sitting down,
Making yourself comfortable,
Feet on the floor,
Hands on your lap,
Closing down the eyes and connecting with your breath.
Notice the in-breath and the out-breath.
Notice the connection your feet have with the floor.
And imagine that connection deepening.
Imagine little roots moving down from the feet into the floor and connecting with the earth.
The earth has a bountiful supply of energy.
Connect with your in-breath now and notice how,
As you breathe in,
You can start bringing energy up from the earth.
Imagine,
Sense,
Feel,
Pretend,
Visualise this energy being pulled up from the earth with your in-breath.
Perhaps it has a colour.
Perhaps it has a temperature.
Perhaps a vibration.
But your body is starting to fill with a wonderful natural energy,
Like recharging your batteries.
Up through the feet and the legs with the in-breath.
Up through the torso,
The hands and the arms.
Noticing how beautifully simple this is,
Using the in-breath to energise.
Up into the chest and the heart and the lungs.
Into the neck.
Into the face,
The jaw,
The mouth and the tongue,
The cheeks and the eyes,
And into the brain,
Energising.
Using the in-breath to pull this energy up to fully recharge your batteries for the rest of the day.
Tingling,
Charged,
Energised.
You are in control.
Fully recharged and ready for the day.
And so with a gentle stretch and a slightly deeper breath in and out,
You can open your eyes,
Returning recharged to the rest of the day.
