Taking some time to sit down and make yourself comfortable,
Feet on the floor,
Hands on your lap,
Taking a gentle deeper breath in and out and closing your eyes,
Allowing your eyes to rest and relax,
Connecting with the breath,
Following the in and out breath,
Sinking a little deeper within.
Today's mindful moment is about creating clarity of thought,
Clearing your mind in the morning.
I'm going to ask you to imagine certain things.
It doesn't really matter if you can't imagine all the things I'm asking you to.
This is a template for you to practice in your own time.
Create a room in your mind that is your mind.
Notice if there's any dust,
Any clutter,
Any floating thoughts bouncing about,
Any paperwork on the desk.
This is a picture of your mind at the moment.
What would you do with this room?
Perhaps open some windows,
Do some dusting,
Tidy the paperwork,
Do some cleaning,
Move the paper.
Spend some time now clearing the room of your mind.
Wonderful.
This little technique when practiced can be done in 20 seconds.
