So,

Taking a little time to sit down,

Feet on the floor,

Hands on your lap,

Taking a nice gentle deep breath in and out and closing down the eyes,

Gently allowing your eyes to close.

Move your awareness now down into your right hand.

No need to move it,

And with your eyes closed you can't see it.

So how do you know where your right hand is?

Well perhaps you notice the temperature.

Perhaps you notice the weight of your right hand.

And perhaps,

Just perhaps,

You may begin to notice a feeling of aliveness within your right hand,

A presence of energy.

This is not something you can make happen,

You just allow it and notice it.

And perhaps now that you're noticing that energy there in your right hand,

You can start to feel it in your left hand at the same time.

Isn't that interesting?

Noticing a certain energy,

An aliveness within the hands.

This gentle practice moves energy from the mind into the body,

Quietening the mind,

Bringing you into this moment.

With a little gentle practice,

You can start feeling the energy in different areas in your body,

A beautiful way to return to the moment,

A beautiful way to quieten the mind.

And with a gentle stretch now,

And a slightly deeper breath,

In and out,

You can open your eyes and come back to the day.
