A short self-massage meditation. We often forget that touch is so powerful as a relaxation tool. Using simple instructions, you are guided to gently massage points on the face to bring about relaxation and peace.

Transcript

If it's safe to do so,

Close your eyes.

Put your hands together and begin to rub your palms together.

Generate some heat in your hands.

Let the heat build up.

Put your hands over your eyes and allow your eyes to relax.

They work hard for you.

Feel the heat.

Give your face a little massage,

A little rub,

Especially in the temples.

That's right.

Don't forget your ears.

As your face relaxes,

As your eyes relax,

Your body is relaxing.

That's right.

Now gently open your eyes and retain this relaxation.
