It's time to let go of the day.

Make sure you're sitting comfortably,

Feet on the floor,

Hands on your lap,

Taking a nice gentle deep breath in,

And as you breathe out,

Close your eyes,

Let your eyes relax.

And notice the contrast between eyes open and eyes closed,

And with your eyes closed and visual distractions removed,

You can connect with your breathing,

Noticing the flow in and out,

And noticing if you're holding tension anywhere in your body.

Shift your awareness to that area,

And allow that part of you holding tension to release and relax.

Letting go.

Are there any other areas of tension?

Move your awareness there.

Allow them to soften and loosen.

Letting go.

Are you holding on to any unnecessary emotions?

Just notice them,

No need to go into a story or analysis,

And let them go.

And with a final gentle stretch,

You can open your eyes and return to the day.
