Hello and welcome to The Daily Insight.
My name's Andrew Johnson.
In today's meditation we'll be focusing on intention for change,
Wishing you a restorative practice.
Now make yourself comfortable sitting or lying down.
And if you choose to,
Place one hand on your chest and one hand on your stomach.
Rest your awareness on your breathing.
And close your eyes.
Notice the flow of your breathing in and out.
In and down and up and out.
And as you notice the flow of your breathing and the difference in temperature between the in-breath and the out-breath and the movement of your hands,
You start to sink a little deeper within.
In this recording we're going to set intentions.
Firstly for the next week.
Over the next seven days,
What would you like to change?
Physically?
Emotionally?
Energetically?
Spiritually?
Financially?
Allow your mind to drift forward in time.
Seven days.
Seven days from now.
And notice what's changed.
Can you see yourself?
What are you wearing?
How are you holding yourself?
How do you look?
How do you feel?
Can you feel the energy of positive change?
Use all your senses.
Allow yourself to soak up the change.
It's a small world.
And big leaps are possible.
Can you give your inner mind the perfect instructions?
Noticing now how it feels seven days in the future.
How positive?
How confident?
How happy?
Hold on to those positive feelings now.
And set an intention to move towards them over the next seven days.
And making your mind a blank now.
Making your mind a blank.
And going deeper within.
Every simple exhalation.
Taking you deeper and deeper within.
Into comfort.
Into stillness.
Into peace.
Your mind slowing.
Your heart rate slowing.
Your breathing slowing.
Drifting down deeper and deeper relaxed.
That's right.
I'd like you to set an intention for change over the next month.
What would you like to change in the next 30 days?
Physically?
Emotionally?
Energetically?
Spiritually?
Financially?
Let your mind wander forward.
Let your unconscious mind and your imagination take you forward 30 days.
Notice what's changed.
How you look.
How you feel.
How you're holding yourself.
How you're dressed.
So how would you like to change in the next 30 days?
Physically?
Emotionally?
Energetically?
Spiritually?
Financially?
Take yourself forward now.
Forward 30 days.
Having achieved what you set out to achieve.
Notice the changes.
Perhaps you can see yourself in 30 days.
Perhaps you just feel the changes.
Use all your senses.
Allow the changes to become part of you here in this moment.
And knowing how much can be achieved in 30 days.
You now set an intention to move towards those changes.
Making a decision here,
Now,
Deep within you.
A decision to regain control.
To break unwanted habits.
And establish new positive habits.
It's wonderful to set this intention.
It's wonderful to feel a bit more in control.
To know the next steps.
To move towards success.
And so bringing yourself back into the body now.
Back into the moment.
Starting to wiggle the fingers and the toes.
Have a gentle stretch of the arms and the legs.
Have a deep awakening breath.
In and out.
Waking the body.
Stretching the body.
And with another deeper breath now as you exhale.
You can open your eyes.
And come back to the moment.
Be gentle with yourself.
