Tonight,

You are safe,

And you don't need to prove that to yourself.

You don't need to check.

You don't need to scan.

And you don't need to stay alert.

Letting the eyes gently close,

You are indoors,

Lying down,

Protected.

The body already knows this.

It just needs time to receive this message.

Nothing is required of you now.

No decisions.

No responses.

No readiness.

Let the body receive the message.

It's okay to rest.

It's okay to drift down into sleep.

That vigilance can switch off now.

That watchfulness can soften.

The day is complete.

Whatever needed to be done today has been done enough.

If anxiety has been present today,

This is the moment it's allowed to step aside.

Not pushed away.

Not fought.

Just gently relieved of duty.

You don't need to carry anything through the night.

Nothing needs guarding.

Nothing needs managing.

Imagine being gently wrapped.

Not tightly.

Just enough to feel contained.

As if the space around you is holding you in place.

Supported on all sides.

Above.

Below.

Behind.

The nervous system begins to settle.

Signals slow.

Muscles soften.

Breathing deepens on its own.

The heart rate slows.

Everything moving toward rest.

Everything moving down into sleep.

You are allowed to sleep deeply tonight.

There is permission here.

You don't need to stay alert.

You don't need to listen for anything.

You don't need to be ready.

If the mind checks in,

As it sometimes does,

Just remind it softly.

Everything is taken care of for now.

Nothing needs your attention until the morning.

You can rest now.

You can sleep now.

The body remembers how to sleep.

It's done this thousands of times before.

Long before you even thought about it.

Long before you tried to make it happen.

And tonight,

It can do it again.

Easily.

Naturally.

Without effort.

Let yourself drift downwards.

Into that feeling of being settled.

Of being okay.

Of being held.

Of being done for the day.

There's nothing left to complete.

Nothing left to prepare.

Nothing else needs to happen.
