Hello.
I want to share with you something that I do every single morning.
Most of my mornings can vary according to schedule,
Time,
Energy,
But I have three things I do every single morning.
And meditate.
I express gratitude and appreciation in some way,
Whether that's writing it,
Typing it,
Thinking it,
Saying it,
Whispering it,
And then I do the practice I want to share with you.
And I call it body thanking.
Not body thinking,
Body thanking.
And it's a way to express appreciation to the body.
So I thought I would share it with you.
And if you like it,
You can join me or you can do one of your own.
I do it differently every day.
I just spontaneously go inside and I thank my body.
All different parts.
Now any anatomy.
Experts out there.
I definitely don't get every part.
But I just go through,
I often do feet to head,
But sometimes I start with belly,
Sometimes I start with head.
And I just go through and I.
.
.
Very sincerely.
Thank each body part and I just kind of in my mind give it a little nod like a little bit of a thank you to each body part that I connect with.
So if you'd like to join me.
I'll do it now.
It usually takes me.
.
.
Maybe one or two minutes.
It's a lovely part of my morning,
And I thought I would share it with you.
I usually do it at a decent pace,
But I think I'll slow it down a little bit in case you want to go along with me.
So if you choose to do it on your own,
You can go at whatever pace feels good to you.
You can close your eyes or keep them open.
No rules there.
And if you're comfortable,
Let's go for it.
If you'd like to close your eyes,
You're welcome to,
Or you can.
Lower your gaze.
Keep your eyes open.
Just take a breath or two,
A little deeper,
A little slower than usual.
Let your body soften,
Feel the surface here.
And I'm going to start with the feet.
Thank you feet.
