Welcome to Connect with Baby meditation.
The purpose of this meditation is to deeply relax to help you be in your body more so that your body is more receptive and so you can feel so connected to each other and also to the baby.
Let's get started.
I want to first ask you to focus on yourself then next we'll focus on each other and then third we'll focus on both of you with baby.
So let's focus on self first.
I just want you to close down your eyes.
Just imagine that you're floating on a beautiful white fluffy cloud.
You feel so comfortable,
You feel safe and at ease and it's one of those moments where you just let everything go,
You're in full surrender.
I just want you to imagine now that with every breath you take it helps you to feel deeply relaxed,
At peace and connected to yourself.
I want you to imagine that with every breath that you take it breathes in peace and you gently let go of any tension that's sitting in your conscious or unconscious awareness.
And again gently breathing in peace and as you exhale letting go of any tension or resistance in your conscious or unconscious mind.
I want you to bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Relaxing every single hair,
Follicle,
All the scalp muscles.
Relaxing the forehead between the eyebrows smooths out.
All of the muscles around the eyes are relaxed.
The jaw is relaxed,
The neck and shoulders are relaxed.
The arms are relaxed.
The heart,
The spine.
The tummy,
The lower back.
The buttocks,
The hips,
The thighs,
The legs and the feet.
Everything in your body feels totally comfortable,
Totally relaxed and so at ease.
I want you to take another deep breath in through your nose.
As you breathe out letting it go.
With your next breath I want you to bring your attention to the space between your legs.
I want you to feel warmth between your legs.
I want you to imagine it's the warmth like you're sitting around a campfire.
It's just the right level of temperature.
I want you to feel warmth in around the genitals,
In around the hips,
In around the pelvis.
I want you just to feel really nice and warm and safe.
Just breathing this energy in and as you breathe in it draws this energy up your body.
All the way up your spine to the top of the head and then as you breathe out the energy draws back down into the sit bones.
It feels safe,
It feels secure,
It feels warm.
Again,
Breathing this warmth all the way up the spine to the top of the head.
Breathing the energy all the way back down into the pelvis,
Around the genitals,
Into the sit bones,
Feeling the warmth.
You might notice there's pleasure,
You might notice there's more blood flow there.
Everything is welcomed,
Everything is perfect.
Keep breathing this energy all the way up,
Releasing it all the way down.
Notice where the warmth takes you,
Somewhere in the body and always back to this place of certainty and safety.
Breath goes in and breath goes out.
Warmth moves up and warmth moves down.
Starting to move this feeling all the way up into the heart now.
Notice the feeling of the heart at the front of the chest.
Letting that energy grow with every single breath.
Let the energy move all the way out the back and all the way forward.
So this way we're going forward to back and back to forward with every single breath.
Notice the feeling as you breathe in.
Notice the heart expanding as you breathe out.
There's a feeling going all the way out through your back and in and out.
Ah notice that warmth as you breathe in.
Gently letting go as you breathe out.
Feeling totally warm,
Totally relaxed,
At peace and connected with yourself.
Now I want you to imagine that your heart is now connected with each other.
Let your hearts meet and as you breathe the hearts come together.
Let the energy from the heart,
The warmth,
The connectedness,
The safety.
Giving and receiving with every single breath in and out.
Connecting together energetically,
Spiritually.
Feeling the union between your hearts,
Your bodies and your minds.
Allow yourself to fully receive love from each other.
Allow yourselves to fully give love to the other.
Notice the beauty in the peace that you feel inside of your body.
When you give and when you receive.
And next I want you to both imagine that your love together gets sent out above your heads,
Above your bodies.
It's still connected to you and it connects with the spirit of baby.
This beautiful soul is ready to join you.
And it's this beautiful soft energy and allow your energy to reach them and invite them in.
You allow your love to magnetize the spirit of baby.
Letting them know that they are loved,
That it is safe,
That you're ready.
Keep breathing,
Keep feeling,
Keep giving and receiving.
I'll give you a moment to say a few words to baby if you want to and connect with baby.
And ever so gently,
Allowing your energy to come back into your own solo body.
Allowing yourself to feel incredibly at ease,
Feeling safe,
Feeling abundant,
Feeling healthy and happy.
Affirming this to yourself by nodding your head,
Giving gratitude to yourself for listening,
For being and feeling today.
Letting yourself drift off into a beautiful slumber,
Knowing this is already done.
