Welcome to 10 minutes cleansing meditation.
We're going to come into the most rejuvenating yoga pose today and that's with your legs up the wall.
So there's a nice easy way to get into this pose so you just basically squat down next to the wall with your hip against the wall and then swing your legs up so you're lying flat on your back palms facing up and legs nice and comfortably resting against the wall.
If you don't have access to a wall that's completely fine you can also use a chair,
A bolster or even your bedhead.
So once you've comfortably got your feet up on something let's start to bring some awareness,
Some beautiful cleansing breaths into our presence.
So the breath is so important to breathe right deep down into our pelvic cavity and allowing it to fill all the way into our belly which stretches out the diaphragm which stretches out the rib cage filling your lungs from the lower lobe,
The middle lobe and the top lobe which is all the way up at our shoulders.
Once you get to the top of your breath gently exhale through your nose.
Keep your tongue gently on the roof of your mouth here and just notice the quality of your breath.
Maybe your nose feels a little bit congested today or maybe you're feeling like you're lacking some breath so really start to breathe deeper.
Allow yourself to really let that breath come in just like a wave on the beach.
So as your belly rises it's like the wave crashes across the shore and as you exhale it's just like that wave is going all the way back out to sea.
Bring that breath so deeply into your belly.
Allowing the chest to expand,
The ribs to expand and allowing yourself to really sink in here and feel all along your spine that you feel completely supported and there's a gentle lightness about your body even though you kind of feel a little bit heavier because you're so relaxed.
Keep breathing through your nose and out through your nose.
We're going to go on a little journey now so speaking about the waves in the ocean let's focus on those waves cleansing every single cell of your body.
So as you breathe in focus on those little cells focus on how they're feeling right now in this moment.
Are they vibrating really fast?
Do they feel a little bit congested?
Do they feel completely at ease and soft?
Wherever you are just accept it.
Be okay with exactly where you are right now and keep breathing through your nose.
Keep breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.
This beautiful cleansing breath,
These waves of breath are surrounding every single one of your cells re-oxygenating it and helping it come more alive.
When your cells feel more alive you're able to take in more nutrients and therefore you're able to function at your absolute best.
So just focus on your breath you don't have to remember anything apart from your deep breath in and out.
Let these waves of breath take you to a place of gentle stillness,
Of gentle calm like you're being rocked on a beautiful slow boat.
And the boat is just floating on a beautiful calm ocean and the ocean is clear.
Everything about this particular picture is clear.
Your skin feels clear,
Your eyes feel clear,
Your mind feels clear and when you look all around you the sky is clear and you can see for such such long expansive vision.
So what is it that you want to see in your vision?
Is there a healthy version of you standing right there?
Invite that healthy version of you to come into existence.
Maybe there's a part of you that's holding back that doesn't truly believe that they are healthy.
What would it take for you to feel completely healthy?
Focus on that breath coming in and out,
Focusing on the breath coming in and out of the nose and focusing on that truly healthy person right in front of you.
Are they feeling so real that you could touch them?
Hold your hand out and invite them.
Invite them to touch your hand and ask them what the secret is.
Is there a secret that they have to this particular type of healthy you?
This healthy you that you crave to be?
This healthy you that's full of energy and life?
This healthy you that doesn't feel stressed,
That sleeps well,
That has all the energy that she needs to step out into the world feeling amazing?
As you notice how amazing this healthy version of you is,
You feel yourself smile.
You smile because you know that this healthy version is in fact you.
You have everything in you right now to become this healthy person.
So allow the breath to move through every single cell of your body to cleanse your body,
To renew your body and for your body to become this most healthy,
Amazing,
Vibrant person that you long to be.
Keep smiling as you breathe in the cleansing air and just simply let go of anything you don't need as you breathe out.
This cleansing breath is so very powerful.
This cleansing breath has the ability to transform you.
So just keep inhaling and exhaling and allow this beautiful energy to swirl around every single cell.
What is it that you need to let go of so that all these cells can energize themselves?
It can be completely free so you can step into this healthy self.
Whatever comes into your mind just let it go with your out-breath and as you breathe in,
Smile knowing that this cleansing breath is bringing you closer one breath at a time.

Helping you let go of anything you don't need and bringing in exactly what you do need.
So we're going to start bringing ourselves back into the room.
So start to wriggle your toes and wriggle your fingers and just bring a little bit of movement into your hips and maybe just rock from side to side on your spine.
Allow your legs to cartwheel off the wall and just lay flat and just soak up this beautiful energy that you've just created in your body.
Come up to a seated position and bring your hands to your heart showing gratitude for this beautiful cleansing meditation that you gave yourself today.
