I invite you that if you are practicing your meditation today seated,
That your back is fully supported,
You're sitting upright,
And your feet are flat on the floor,
Your hands can be face up or face down,
Clasped,
Whatever is the most comfortable for you.
And for those of you who are lying down for your meditation,
I invite you to ensure that your head is fully supported,
Your neck,
Something under your knees perhaps,
Around your hips,
Whatever is going to make you feel really comfortable.
Again,
Your hands can be face up,
Face down,
On top of you,
Beside you.
When you're ready,
I invite you to close your eyes and focus on your breathing.
Breathing in a breath here for the count of four,
And releasing for the count of four.
And again,
Breathing in four,
Three,
Two,
One,
And exhaling four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Your next inhale,
Breathing deeply,
Seeing your tummy expand,
Feeling that air expanding and energizing,
And watch it as you release it on your exhale.
When your next breath in,
I invite you to take your tension down to your toes,
Letting go of any of the stress being held in your feet,
In your arches,
Your ankles,
Breathing that life-giving air all the way down to your toes,
Relaxing your calves and your shins,
Unclenching your knees,
Relaxing the muscles of your thighs,
Relaxing your entire leg.
Relaxing your legs may feel more heavy,
They may even feel more light,
They may feel tingly,
Warm.
Just breathe here,
Helping deep relaxation go to your lower half.
On your next breath in,
Releasing any tension held in your pelvis,
In your low back,
In your abdomen,
Letting go here,
Unclenching,
Releasing,
Breathing that air into your digestive system,
Breathing that air.
Your tension goes to your chest,
It opens even more slightly,
Your shoulders fall just a little.
You feel a sense of relaxation go down each of your arms and your fingers unclench,
Unfold and release any tension being held in your forearms or your hands,
Feeling a beautiful sense of relaxation here.
And you take your attention to your neck,
All of the muscles that hold up that amazing head of yours,
Unclenching,
Releasing,
Relaxing.
And you move to your jaw,
Letting go of any tension here,
Any stress being held in this area of your mouth,
Letting go of your tongue,
The muscles around your cheeks and all around your eyes,
Relaxing your eyeballs in their sockets,
Letting go,
Releasing any tension in your scalp and your forehead,
Feeling your whole body completely relaxed,
Completely calm,
Safe and comfortable.
On your next breath in,
I invite you to see a bright white light pouring down into the top of your head.
It is stunning,
Beautiful,
Sparkling,
This thick stream of bright white light pouring down into the top of your head,
Filling your entire head and neck with this sparkly white light.
And it flows down your shoulders,
Down your arms,
All the way to your fingertips,
Where beams of light,
Bright white light shine out from those fingertips.
And it continues to pour,
Filling your entire chest and torso with this bright white healing light,
This energizing light,
Lifting you,
Loving you,
Causing every cell in your being to be ignited,
Energized,
Vibrating at another level.
And this bright white light continues to pour into the top of your head,
Filling every bit of you all the way down both of your legs to your feet.
It feels amazing,
Glorious,
Warm.
You feel comforted.
You feel content.
You feel at ease as this bright white light lifts every cell,
Energizes and loves every cell.
And it flows into the top of your head all the way through your body and out the bottom of your feet and it leaves these incredible roots,
Strong,
Secure,
Connecting you to the ground,
Rooting you to the earth so you feel so safe and comfortable,
So happy,
So calm.
And you breathe here,
Feeling content.
I invite you now in your mind to see a boardwalk.
It's a long boardwalk.
It's by the water.
You decide that you want to go for a walk along this boardwalk.
Here your shoes walking along the planks of wood.
Beside you there is a beach and beyond that is the water.
You walk along hearing just the quiet sounds of the water,
Gentle sounds of the birds and your footsteps on the boardwalk.
It is nice to have time just for you.
It is peaceful.
As you walk along this boardwalk,
You notice the amazing design of the wood,
The knots in the wood and how unique each board is as it leads you along this path.
It reminds you of the uniqueness that is you.
How similar the knots in the wood beneath your feet look to that amazing fingerprint that belongs only to you.
And you are reminded of this moment in time that is yours.
No other person like you,
No other experience exactly as you have walked in your journey.
You have a reason for being here,
A purpose for being here.
And you are reminded of this amazing feeling as you walk along.
You are reminded of how amazing you are that all of the circumstances came together for you to be here in this now moment.
You were born when you were born to the people you were born to.
You had all the experiences along the way that have made you exactly who you are.
And you recognize that this is a gift,
That you are a gift.
That you are a light in people's lives.
You have an opportunity to grow that light that you are,
To shine your light brighter,
To be a beacon of love and light and hope for those in your life.
It is a choice.
It is an opportunity every single day.
And you chuckle to yourself for a moment thinking how these marks on the wood have reminded you of something so important.
How unique and incredibly amazing you are.
You walk further along loving this time of quiet,
Calm,
Peacefulness,
This time of reflection.
This time just to be with yourself,
To be with your thoughts,
To be with your heart,
To connect within,
To remind yourself how truly incredible you are.
How truly incredible you are.
You come to a stop along your boardwalk and at that moment you can look back,
You can look forward,
But you decide to stand right in that now moment.
And as you look out into the water,
You see all that you were meant to be.
And you feel a bright white light shining down on you,
Choosing you,
Reminding you of your gloriousness,
Reminding you of how awesome you are.
Regardless of how awesome you feel,
How awesome you truly are,
Reminding you to find the awesomeness in yourself,
To see the awesomeness in yourself.
Because you are unique,
You are one of a kind and you are in this now moment and this bright white light is pouring into the top of your head,
Filling your entire head and neck with this bright white healing light,
Filling both arms all the way down to your fingertips,
Fueling every cell,
Energizing every cell,
Lifting every cell in your being to a higher vibration.
So you feel happy,
You feel content,
You feel calm,
Peaceful,
Joyful,
Better than you did before.
And that white light continues to flow into your body,
Filling up your entire torso,
Flowing all the way down,
Flowing all the way down your legs to your feet and out the bottom of your feet become the most glorious roots,
Rooting you to the ground,
Grounding you to the earth where you feel so secure and safe,
You feel so calm,
You feel so good.
I invite you now on your next breath in to release all images.
On your next breath in to move your hands and your feet,
Bringing you back into the space you're in and on your final breath in,
You feel ready to do so,
To open your eyes.
