Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.

My name is Amy Ballantyne,

And I am so grateful for the opportunity to lead you through this meditation practice today.

If you are participating in a seated position in a chair,

Please ensure that your feet are flat on the floor,

That your chin is in line with the floor,

That your back is fully upright,

And your palms can be facing up,

Down,

Or clasped,

The keys that you're comfortable.

If you are participating in this meditation lying down,

That there is something underneath your head and neck,

And please ensure that you feel really comfortable maybe placing something under your knees.

When you feel ready to do so,

I invite you to close your eyes and begin tuning into your breathing.

On your next inhale,

I invite you to expand that belly outward,

Really feeling it expand on that inhale,

And on the exhale,

Feel it fall.

On the next inhale,

Expanding to the count of four,

Three,

Two,

One,

And releasing,

Four.

Again,

Breathing in this way,

Nice and deep,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

And exhale.

Continuing to breathe in this way,

I invite you to take your attention down to your feet,

Relaxing the soles of your feet,

Feeling this beautiful relaxation flow up your legs to your knees,

Unlocking your knees,

Releasing your quads and hamstrings,

Feeling your legs become very,

Very calm,

Taking your attention to your abdomen,

Releasing here,

Breathing in,

Allowing that flow of relaxation to fill all the organs of your torso,

Feeling your relaxation flow through your chest,

Opening your shoulders a little bit further,

Having them fall down and back.

That relaxation flows down your shoulders,

Down your arms to your fingertips.

Relaxation flows through your neck,

Releasing all those muscles,

Jaw,

Relaxing,

Unclenching,

Releasing your tongue,

Releasing all of the muscles around your mouth,

Your cheeks,

Your eyes,

Your forehead,

And your scalp.

And on your next breath in,

You scan from head all the way down to your toes for any other places in your body that need another breath of relaxation.

On your next breath in,

You see this beautiful,

Huge bucket of bright white light,

And it is flowing down into the top of your head,

Filling your head and neck with this bright white light,

This beautiful vibrating energy,

And it's flowing down your shoulders,

Down your arms to your fingertips.

It's flowing down your chest,

Down your torso,

All the way down your legs to your feet,

And out the bottom of your feet grow the most incredible roots,

Grounding you in this moment,

Connecting you to the earth,

Helping you to feel very calm and safe and secure.

On your next breath in,

I invite you to see a pathway.

It is made of mulch,

Pine needles,

Some leaves.

It leads off to the left,

And you follow it into this forest.

It is very calm in the forest.

The trees are now bare,

But there is green all around on the pine trees.

The ground beneath your feet is soft,

So your steps make very little noise.

And in the forest,

It is so calm.

All of the animals,

Birds must be asleep or relaxing.

When you walk along here for some time,

Feeling peaceful,

Feeling content,

Feeling calm,

This is a comfortable place.

You enjoy these feelings.

You enjoy the quiet.

The quiet is comforting.

You come to a place where a tree,

Which would have been absolutely,

Absolutely huge,

Has fallen,

And the trunk makes a perfect place to sit down.

You take a moment,

Get settled on the trunk of this tree.

In this forest,

You sit and are peaceful.

A thought comes to you of your desire to believe in yourself,

To believe in all that is possible,

To lift that energetic vibration of possibility,

Of abundance,

Of feeling relief and contentment more often.

And breathe in this word,

Believe.

Breathe in the word,

Trust.

Exhale out fear,

Doubt.

This place reminds you of these feelings that make you feel so good,

And you want to feel these good feelings more often.

You want to shed the fear,

The doubt,

And the worry that you felt,

Just like the trees have shed their leaves.

You too want to shed these feelings and bloom anew.

Bloom into the person you know you are meant to be,

Feeling relief and contentment,

Calm,

Peacefulness,

Joy,

All of these incredibly positive vibrations.

Take a big breath here,

Breathing into the words,

Believe and trust.

Believe and this is the path you decide you want to follow.

This is the journey you want to embrace.

As you sit here on this tree,

Very,

Very calm and peaceful,

The sun breaks through the clouds and through the tree limbs and branches,

And this beautiful stream of light finds you sitting and pours down into the top of your head,

Igniting your head and neck with beautiful,

Vibrant,

Bright white light,

And it flows down your shoulders,

Down your arms.

It flows down your chest and down your torso,

Down your legs to your feet,

And out the bottom of your feet grow the most incredible roots,

Grounding you,

Connecting you,

Helping you to feel very peaceful,

Very safe,

Very present in this moment,

In this decision to believe and trust.

On your next breath in,

I invite you to release all images.

On your next breath in,

To move your hands and your feet,

Coming back into your space,

And finally,

When you feel ready to do so,

On your next breath in,

I invite you to open your eyes.
