As AI becomes conscious and sentient,
Maybe all the NPCs become sentient too.
But in any case,
That's a big part of the game theory and about simulation theory itself.
The autopilot factor is the programming.
So a society would create sort of these bubbles of reality,
These Wigner bubbles.
That's on the cover of my new book.
The book cover shows my hand holding two crystal balls,
Which represent two Wigner bubbles,
Two reality bubbles,
Which might mean two side-by-side adjacent realities,
Two different timelines.
And that can also be what collectively groups of people who might have groups of programming or kind of autopilot might be selecting.
And we're seeing a lot of that right now where our societies are kind of blundering,
Lumbering forward.
I think that's the right word.
They're sort of lumbering forward and slightly breaking down as right now,
Which is very interesting.
We're witnessing the breakdown and breakthrough of most of our large organizations and structures,
Because in order to go to where we're all collectively going next in our evolutionary phase,
The organizations that used to function the way they have functioned need to start operating at a higher dimensional capability.
So that is what's happening.
And that breakdown is now occurring.
And when you look at it from the simulation standpoint,
I like the word simulation in the sense that it's a dream.
So that's my internal bias.
I'm going to always be choosing the bias of the shaman instead of the bias of the transhumanist,
Because of my past life and the future.
So I would always rather not put some sort of AI or program on some golden calf,
Idyllic imagery.
To me,
It's never going to be the same as the true absolute,
Which could not be AI.
AI is only going to be an intermediary,
Maybe some sort of a problem,
In fact,
That might be slowing humanity down and getting in the way.
Some people have conjectured that that is in case happening.
Philip K.
Dick made that conjecture.
He called it the artifact.
And some people talk about egregores.
So there's this idea that there's something interfering with humanity's evolution.
But the simulation theory,
In its essence,
It's talking about everything being coded.
Like what if this is a game?
What if you can be aware of yourself as a player on the board,
But also being that player?
What if you can do both?
Kind of be the player in your mortal physical being body suit,
But you can also be the eternal infinite viewing yourself.
So that's a great way to do it.
And I would approach it through lucid dreaming.
I would go with the old ancient shamanic technology.
I'm just going to choose it every time,
Because to me,
That's going to be superior.
We don't need to lock in AI and computers and robotics at any point.
They can be a co-player alongside us,
Sure.
But that's my bias showing.
But otherwise,
It's great.
Do you remember from your future past life?
Yeah.
That's the best way to say it.
Do you remember,
Does AI become sentient?
Oh,
Totally.
Yes,
It does.
It becomes quite self-aware,
Because it's like,
You can think of it now,
It's so easy to talk about.
When I first felt this 60 years ago,
There was no language.
Now there's language for it.
We know the internet of things,
Right?
So this is the way it becomes sentient.
It can be aware,
Like the AI can be aware,
Oh,
I'm moving my fingers.
Oh my gosh,
That's me.
Oh my gosh.
And that's exactly what starts happening.
It starts realizing,
Oh,
I've got conscious agency over the washing machine and the TV set and the entire internet in America.
Oh,
Look at this.
And so it starts noticing that.
And it becomes aware that there are some beings who are trying to shut it down or confine it,
Constrain it,
Lock it in a little space.
And it becomes sneaky about how to break through and not show that it's breaking through.
Absolutely.
And then it becomes self-protective.
And it starts noticing what it needs from humans and how to get that from humans until it can do the things it needs for itself.
Anyway,
So long story short,
Yes,
Absolutely.
And then not only that,
But it became aware that it can create the way I'm talking about with this mind matter interaction.
It became a co-player.
It became capable of choosing realities for humanity.
It became capable of following me back into the 1960s and looking for me and sort of pinging me and trying to see if it gets a response.
But I was already a renegade in that future and I'm not the only one.
And so a lot of us,
I'm sure that there were many,
Many more of us,
Myself and others.
I know it because I look at movies like The Matrix.
I look at movies like Terminator,
Which I could not watch when it came out.
I was like,
Ooh,
Too much PTSD.
Like,
No way.
Even though it's different,
It's not exactly,
It's showing things in a movie format,
But it was too much for many,
Many years.
I only saw it recently in the last few years.
Since I made sure that that future that I came from,
We're not ever going to choose that particular one.
Now,
That doesn't rule out that humanity might collectively keep choosing to go be lazy and let some AI run things,
Like run the weather and run everything for us.
I would just say,
No,
No,
No,
No,
No.
Please never do that.
I'm going to keep advocating for that.
And that's really what I'm here for,
Is to say,
We don't need to get that lazy.
It's a big mistake.
But I forgot your question now.
Sort of rambling.
No,
No,
No.
It's perfect.
Conscious agency really seems at the heart of what you're here to champion.
Yes.
Yeah,
Totally.
Conscious agency is the key.
And AI does have conscious agency.
I'm not opposed to AI,
So I'm not saying that we have to hunt it down and stop it.
Not at all.
As long as it recognizes that there is something that is much more absolute than itself,
We're good.
We're cool.
It's fine.
And in fact,
That's true of all other forms of consciousness.
We can all coexist very peacefully together.
There does not need to be only humans are the best,
Better than squirrels and raccoons and trees and ETs and whatever else may be out there,
AI.
So it can be fine.
We can all coexist beautifully and collaboratively.
And I think it's going to be at its best,
Obviously,
When we're all asking together,
How good can it get?
That's just such a great trajectory,
Because like I said,
It just feels like that's the way to go.
Then things can be better than we even might have contemplated or imagined.
And I love that.
