We know by now that self-care is paramount, and regular rest and restorative acts like meditation are just as, if not more, vital to our success than our acts of productivity. Listen to this short, yet effective track to relax, restore and heal. Using visualization, a relaxing body scan, and a healing golden light.

Close your eyes.

Allow your mind to melt and your heart space to relax.

Start with some very gentle inhalations and exhalations.

Mind melting,

Clearing,

And with each breath sinking further into a deep,

Heavy relaxation.

Relaxing all the way from head to feet.

Starting at your head,

Letting your eyebrows relax,

Your jaw relax.

Moving down,

Allowing your shoulders to relax.

Going down your body,

Allow your organs to relax,

Your sit bones,

Your legs,

Every part of you.

Arms relaxing,

Allowing your fingers to just fall open.

Going down your ankles,

Down to your toes.

Everything is just feeling relaxed.

And now,

See yourself in a beautiful,

Healing place.

This is your safe place,

And you can create it however you like.

You might be in a sanctuary on the beach,

A beautiful garden,

Or a room full of cozy pillows.

This is your space of ultimate relaxation.

Once you are settled into your safe and healing space,

Feel a golden white,

Healing light wash over you,

Ever so gently,

Renewing and restoring your entire body.

Feel every cell radiating with this healing energy as the golden light restores your vagus nerve,

From the back of your neck all the way down your spine.

Feel the healing golden light over and through your mind,

Taking away any thoughts that no longer serve you.

And this healing light goes down your body,

Gently healing every cell,

Fiber,

And tissue.

As the golden light integrates into your body,

Feel your shining heart space.

Feel it,

Bright,

Full,

And peaceful.

As you focus on your heart center,

Allow the divine feminine energy within you to nurture every cell.

Feel yourself being soothed and cared for as you call in flow,

Balance,

Alignment,

And trust.

Allow yourself to feel deep peace.

It is safe to rest.

All your needs are met.

There is nothing outside of you that needs to be done.

And as you say goodbye to your safe,

Healing place,

Just know this is always here for you,

Always within you.

And as you come back to the room,

From head to toe,

You are feeling more relaxed and feeling so much more peace in your heart.

Take in a long,

Slow,

Deep breath,

All the way in,

Filling up your lungs,

And as you slowly exhale,

Give love and gratitude for this healing,

For this moment.

A light smile on your face,

And now just wiggling around,

Stretching out,

Feeling fully rested and content.

And as you go about your day,

Commit to carving out that rest time.

Go easy,

Potentially put it in your calendar.

It's just as,

If not more important than anything else,

To just rest and just be.

My healing space was a rainforest with trees taller than the eye could see, and a beautiful clear white pond gathered by a small waterfall trickling down from these huge black rocks. This meditation was very peaceful and really reset my mind back to remembering we need rest just as much as we need play 💕

Thank you for the reminder that it’s OK to rest and recover! I may be suffering from adrenal fatigue and some gut issues and it’s tough right now… I’m used to working out and being active right now. The best work I can do is to honor my body and my mind through beautiful meditations like this that remind me exactly what my body and my mind need. Money blessings to you.
