I feel like this following meditation with affirmations will leave you feeling empowered,
Taking full responsibility,
Truly surrendering,
And choosing peace.
So I invite you to close your eyes,
Allow yourself to fully relax.
Relax your shoulders,
Your jaw,
And take in a deep breath.
All the way in,
And as you exhale,
Letting go of anything you might be holding on to.
Fully relax.
Allow us to fully accept that we cannot control other people.
We cannot control what they think of us.
We cannot control their choices,
Their actions,
Or even their priorities.
But the one thing that we can control is ourselves.
If they don't call,
Text,
Or check in,
Let them.
If they don't respond the way that you want them to,
Let them.
If they don't show up for you the way that you truly would want them to,
Let them.
If they judge you or misunderstand you or maybe even gossip about you,
Let them.
If they leave,
Let them.
Take another deep breath in right now,
And as you exhale,
Just release control,
Surrender to what is,
And fully accept this present moment.
Let them,

As you fully surrender,
Feel your heart space opening.
Feel a wave of peace throughout your body.
Feel freedom,
Freedom to live your life.
Feel free to repeat these affirmations out loud or in your mind.
I release the need to control others,
And I embrace my own path.
I am free to be myself,
And others are free to be themselves.
I let people do what they want,
And I focus on what I need.
Their reactions are not my responsibility.
I trust that letting go creates space for what's meant for me.
I do not chase,

I release resentment and allow peace into my life.

I refuse to let other people's opinions dictate my happiness.
