Present and emerging.

Welcome to Inner Light Podcast,

A space created for you to pause,

Slow down and reconnect to your inner peace through breath,

Visualization and relaxation.

I am your host,

Ali Garrison,

Now let's immerse in today's relaxation episode.

I suggest that you find yourself in a place where you are able to be comfortable and will be undisturbed.

A time for you to connect with the inner you.

As the breath flows into you,

Like an old friend it reminds you of this sacred time that you have taken for yourself,

Leaving the movement and the busyness and the thoughts and the speech of your life in the outside world.

And you breathe in,

Letting all your senses immerse deep within that breath.

And as you breathe out,

Gently closing your eyes and bringing a smile to your lips,

Giving yourself permission to rest,

To be still.

And the ebb and flow of the breath flows through you easily.

The mind no longer threatened by the stillness,

But rather curious to delve into the breath and to feel the slower pace.

Breath flowing in,

Breath flowing out.

You feel the stillness of your body and you become aware of the shift in your senses,

Aware of the stillness yet aware of an inner lightness.

Focus on the inner lightness that you feel,

The essence of your inner self.

And in that moment you are gently transported to another time and place.

You find yourself standing on the deep red ogre earth under a brilliant starlit night.

You feel safe,

Comforted,

Welcomed.

The blanket of stars before you seems so low in the sky as though you could reach and touch them.

There is no moon,

So the stars shine in all their glory,

Gently dancing for you.

A light show from the universe reminding you that you are part of a larger family.

You are never on your own.

Although there is no moon,

It is not a dark night.

The brilliance of the stars give you clarity and the ability to easily see in the desert.

You begin to walk,

Feeling your skin touch the rich soil of the outback.

Every step is sacred.

You feel the deep blessings of this sacred land and your walk is gentle.

You walk quietly and gently blessing this earth,

This sacred ground.

In the distance not far from where you are,

A flicker of a flame,

Your heart filled with wonder.

You walk towards this small flame that you see.

As you approach,

You see the Elder sitting quietly,

Waiting for you.

As soon as you see their face,

You are immediately aware of the immense wisdom that they hold.

The flicker of the flame is so small and the Elder sits before it.

As you approach,

You see the intention and the focus as they look deep into the flicker of light.

As they become aware of you approaching,

They lift their gaze and a broad smile shines from their face.

No words are spoken.

There is no need.

Instinctively,

Your heart tells you to sit with the Elder,

Respecting their wisdom,

Their knowledge and their gift to you.

You now sit opposite each other with the small flickering flame between you,

So close that your knees almost touch.

They have not lifted their gaze from your eyes.

They have not dulled their smile.

There is almost an excitement in their eyes.

Then instinctively,

Without hesitation,

You reach your hands out,

Your arms and hands resting.

On your knees,

The Elder reaches for you and you now connect hands.

Relaxed,

Still,

Focused and yet free,

You look deep into each other's eyes.

There is such a bond,

An ancient bond of understanding the Earth,

Of respecting the Earth.

You see the Elder's face,

Light with joy and hope,

As they see you recognize the connection you have with nature.

You feel a stirring from within,

Almost an expanding of light from inside of you,

As awareness around the interaction with nature dawns within you.

In that moment,

Without hesitation,

You both begin to look deep into the flame.

Breathing,

Connecting,

There is no expectation.

Slowly the flame begins to build,

Not outward but upward.

What was once a small flickering flame like a candle is now tapered and tall.

It has not broadened but lengthened.

Your gaze remains fixed.

You feel the energy running between you and this great Elder.

The free flowing gift of energy of love and respect.

No expectation,

No taking,

A deep feeling of sharing and living the wisdom.

As you look into the flame you begin to see the visions of you in nature.

Swimming,

Walking,

Feeling the sun on your skin,

The wind,

The sounds.

The visions that you see remind you of your interaction with life and nature.

That every day she is talking to you,

Offering you gifts of joy and harmony.

The way the wind gently moves,

Or the sounds of the gentle ocean on the shore.

The way the sunlight touches the trees,

Or the shadows embrace the earth.

This dance of light and dark,

Of night and day,

Of growth,

Expansion,

Transformation and returning back to the soil,

Is all part of the natural progression of life and nature itself.

As you watch the flame you feel the transformations of your own life.

Perhaps you see visions of challenges or triumphs.

Without speaking you hear the Elder reassuring you to trust that you are forever growing and learning.

That Mother holds us in lessons of life.

Waves of resilience,

Waves of gratitude,

Waves of strength flow through you.

Looking deep into the flame you hear wisdom of your own heart.

Embrace what you hear and feel.

Looking into the flames you feel the waves of wisdom,

Positive insights,

Love,

Nurturing,

Safety.

Immerse in the moment and receive the gifts that will guide you,

Support you,

Honour you.

The flame slowly begins to return,

Smaller and smaller.

You lift your gaze and again find yourself looking deep into the eyes of the Elder.

Their eyes wide and inviting,

Their smile broad and loving.

In that moment they lift their gaze to look at the stars.

You lift your gaze to see the wonder of the blanket of stars above you,

Beams of light,

Blessings shining down upon us.

Instinctively you lower your gaze and you see that the Elder is now looking at the earth,

Looking down at the red and the brilliant colours of the ochre.

And what you see amazes you,

It is as though you are suspended in space.

The blanket of stars above you appears to now be below you as well.

But what you are witnessing are the sacred jewels of the earth.

They are not jewels in the essence of diamonds and sapphires.

It is the energy that the earth emanates through her crystals,

Through her trees,

Through her animals,

Her rivers,

Her mountains,

Her sands,

Her oceans and seas.

Through opening your heart and connecting with nature you see the deeper dimensions of the earth.

You witness,

You feel and you become the deeper dimensions of the earth and the universe.

The waves of energy flowing through you now is pure bliss.

You feel a tear of joy slowly release from your eyes.

You lift your gaze from the blanket of stars beneath you.

You look into their eyes and you see the stars.

The smile broadens,

The eyes widen,

Pure joy.

And in that moment the great elder becomes the universe itself.

And the stars of the sky and the stars of the earth are now before you.

You are sitting with the universe.

It is gently reminding you that you are at one with the universe.

That each time you immerse in this awareness you expand the light,

The love,

The compassion and the harmony that is the universe.

With a heart that is abundant you close your eyes.

Your mind filled with never-ending stars.

You feel the support,

The strength,

The courage.

And in that moment breathing in once more you become aware of your physical body.

Breathing in and out,

Your eyes remaining closed.

You are aware of the ebb and flow of your energy.

More expanded,

Clearer,

Yet grounded.

With a smile in your heart that reflects into your eyes.

When you are ready opening your eyes,

Becoming aware,

Awake and grounded.

Stretching out into your body and feeling the spaciousness from within that you feel.
