As you breathe in you are aware of the breath the universe flowing into you and you breathe in through your nose and as you breathe out out through your mouth and with the exhalation there is a sense of letting go.

Breathing in through the nose you are embracing,

Connecting,

Acknowledging the life force the universe and as it flows into your body you feel the expansion of your chest and as you exhale exhale out the mouth letting the breath flow from you calmly without effort and without force.

Again as you breathe in whether your eyes are open or closed you are breathing in through your nose with a full awareness of the life force that that is bringing into you,

Into your vessel and the exhalation out through the mouth gently,

Slowly but yet not contained or forced in the way that you release.

You are giving yourself permission to let go.

As you breathe in through the nose the life force fills you,

Rejuvenates,

Regenerates and supports you.

It washes through you in a way that lets you know that you have space within you and that everything is okay.

And as you exhale a sense of giving yourself that space around you that as you exhale out the mouth it is creating distance between your thoughts,

Perhaps the pressures or demands of your world.

That you're able through that gentle breath out the mouth to just blow them back a little bit,

Create more space,

Create more harmony and give yourself permission to breathe.

Breathing in through the nose,

Out through the mouth,

Allowing,

Releasing,

Having permission.

Feel your shoulders relax,

Feel your jaw relax.

Simple ebb and flow of the life force but only now you are asking your mind to notice,

You are acknowledging the feelings through your body and you are giving yourself permission to let go and to create space.

When you feel ready begin to breathe in and out of your nose but keep the softness,

Allow the jaw and the tongue to remain in that place.

Feel the distance that you feel within your thoughts,

That there is space no longer crowding in on you.

This simple practice whether it's one breath,

Three or ten is with you at any time and can be done in any situation.

It enables you and empowers you to not be crowded in your world or your thoughts.

If your mind is busy reintroduce it to the old friend the breath and a magical unlocking of harmony and serenity will follow.

It may not happen immediately for you particularly if your mind is used to be being busy but the more you familiarize yourself with it,

The more you notice your breath throughout your day,

The easier it becomes that when life truly is challenging there is a relationship,

An ability to go deeper when you need it most.

I hope this short practice is empowering to you and that through your consistent connection to the sanctuary within that you truly feel your inner light shining brightly,

That you truly feel the serenity that is within you.
